Of course, the implicit part of that agreement is that we would help you FIND said quarterbacks, kickers, tight ends and defenses! We have had quite a successful year with streaming suggestions and hope to keep that positive momentum.
Streaming has been pretty successful for us and we have seen a few players (Josh Allen, Jacoby Brissett, Gerald Everett, and Zane Gonzalez) go from streaming options to bonafide fantasy football starters which is the whole point of streaming in the first place!
The RotoExperts rankings and projections will guide you in making streaming and start/sit decisions, and the RX staff will be in the Daily Roto slack to answer questions for RotoExperts subscribers as well.
Streaming Notes: All players in this weekly column will be under 50% owned in Yahoo! Fantasy Football. A given player might be owned in your league but is not owned in all leagues. FAAB bids will be listed during the regular season but you know your league better than I do. FAAB dollars are also worth more the earlier they are spent in the calendar, so keep that in mind while streaming QB/K/TE/DST.

Week Seven Quarterback Fantasy Football Streamers
Daniel Jones– Daniel Jones might be the best streamer that we have seen in any spot yet this year and we have had some great streamers. Jones offers a little bit of rushing upside but is not owned in most leagues because of his horrid performance against the Patriots. He now finds the oasis of QB matchups against Arizona who allowed five QB1 performances and only did not allow a top 12 day to Russell Wilson because the Seahawks were winning by too many points. With a total hovering around 50, this is one of the highest-scoring games of the week and Jones should be the first name any QB streamer looks too. The Cardinals defense ranks 28th in the NFL in net adjusted yards per attempt allowed; Jones is a slam dunk streamer in Week Seven.
Jacoby Brissett – How Brissett is still a streamer is beyond me. He has been one of the most consistent players at the quarterback position and his game against Kansas City before the Colts bye week was the first time that he didn’t have multiple passing touchdowns (but he still tacked on a rushing touchdown for good measure). Brissett now gets a game that could turn into a track meet against Houston with a 47 point total and plays against a Houston defense that has allowed the 29th most passing attempts against in the NFL. This is a great volume spot for Brissett and might turn the Colts into a pass-heavier team than usual.
Kicker Fantasy Football Streamers
Aldrick Rosas- Kickers against the Arizona Cardinals have been a great spot this year, even for those who can’t make their extra points! Matt Bryant missed his last week but racked up two field-goal attempts and four extra-point attempts which is exactly the seasonal averages against the Cardinals. If all season long, you just picked up the kicker playing against the Cardinals, you would find yourself with a top ten kicker and if you didn’t draft Harrison Butker or Will Lutz, you’re probably happy with that. The only way you would be more happy is if you drafted this next guy!
Zane Gonzalez- There has maybe been no streamer with a consistency like Gonzalez this year. He leads the NFL in field goals attempted and has made two more field goals than anyone else playing. Gonzalez is 100% on his extra-point attempts and again, gets another great matchup against the Giants who have allowed the 27th most yards gained against in the NFL and the 24th most points against. This Cardinals/Giants game has a surprisingly high total and though it will be outdoors (we prefer kickers indoors), Gonzalez is going to continue being a model of consistency at the kicker position.
Tight End Fantasy Football Streamers
Darren Fells – F0r the fifth straight week, Fells has played 60% or more of the Houston Texans offensive snaps. What has changed is that he is being used less as a blocker and more as a pass-catcher and route runner. Fells was targeted seven times last week against Kansas City, which is a career-high for a guy who has played in the NFL for six seasons. Fells was never really a receiving threat before his time in Houston but it appears the coaching staff has unlocked something in him as he is up to 44 slot snaps on the year and nine snaps out wide. This week against Indianapolis should be another relatively high-attempt game for Watson which favors Fells.
Dawson Knox – Very quietly, Dawson Knox has become an every-down player for the Buffalo Bills. The two games the Bills played before their bye week, Knox played 50 and 60 snaps consecutively with 19 and eight snaps from the slot. He has also played out wide on 27 snaps this year. With Zay Jones traded, John Brown and Robert Foster listed as questionable and a home game against Miami this week, Knox could find himself third or fourth in targets against the worst defense in NFL.
Luke Willson – Will Dissly will miss the rest of the season for the Seahawks, Nick Vannett is on the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ed Dickson is on the injured reserve….Willson is all the Seahawks left at the tight end position. That does not guarantee that he would be targeted at the same rate as Dissly but I feel confident that he will be on the field an extreme amount. Seattle loves tight ends because of how often they call running plays and Willson played 67 snaps last week and was targeted three times. If you are really scraping the bottom of the barrel, Willson is a lock to be on the field in one of the highest total games of the week.
Defense/Special Teams Fantasy Football Streamers
Structural DST Streaming Philosophy: The core tenants of finding a good streaming defense are finding a home defense that is going to face a lot of passing attempts. While your league settings might differ, in general, what we are chasing is sacks, turnovers and the main goal is finding DST touchdowns. DST touchdowns happen most often on passing plays as opposed to rushing plays.
Indianapolis Colts – The Texans and by extension, DeShaun Watson, have allowed 18 sacks this year. That pace slowed down against the Chiefs and Falcons but the Texans have several offensive line injuries to worry about this week. I do not think the Colts defense is fantastic but this game should be heavy on passing attempts if either team gets out to an early lead and knowing that Watson is prone to taking sacks gives them a safe floor even if the Colts are bottom five in the NFL in pressure and hurry percentage.
New York Giants – Unlike the Colts, the Giants have a horrible defense at every level except pass rush and they also play against a quarterback who has been known to take sacks. Kyler Murray has already been sacked 21 times in his short NFL career and the Giants blitz on 27.9% of total dropbacks faced. It is shocking to realize the Giants are actually competent at something but they are in the upper half of the league in sacks recorded and QB hits. Even though we think Kyler is great, this is a great spot to get a few free sacks.
