teams. Of course, the implicit part of that agreement is that we would help you FIND said quarterbacks, kickers, tight ends and defenses. Last week started off okay quarterback (Brisset, Allen, and Stafford all over 15 fantasy points), mediocre at kicker (Bailey/Seibert bad, Badgley did not play) and amazing at defense (New York Jets over 20 points in most systems).

This week, we will be bringing tight ends back into the conversation as we have some more actionable information and the first set of waiver runs should have changed the landscape of what is out there.

The RotoExperts rankings and projections will guide you in making streaming and start/sit decisions, and the RX staff will be in the Daily Roto slack to answer questions for RotoExperts subscribers as well.

Streaming Notes: All players in this weekly column will be under 50% owned in Yahoo! Fantasy Football. A given player might be owned in your league but is not owned in all leagues. FAAB bids will be listed during the regular season but you know your league better than I do. FAAB dollars are also worth more the earlier they are spent in the calendara, so keep that in mind while streaming QB/K/DST.

Week Three Fantasy Football Streamers

Quarterback Fantasy Football Streamers

Case Keenum – Here we are. Three games into the season and Case Keenum is the ninth-best QB in fantasy and has at least two touchdowns in every game that he has played. Keenum now gets a defense that has given up a QB1 game in all three games they played this year (the New York Giants) while being a heavy road dog. Now, we generally want to attach ourselves to quarterbacks who, you know, score points but what is clear in the Washington offense right now is that all of their yards are coming through the air. Adrian Peterson has looked every bit his age and Case has 124 passing attempts through three games.

Jacoby Brisset – As we wrote last week, Brisset at this point is probably closer to being an every-week starter than he is someone who is just sitting on the waiver wire. He paid off our recommendation to stream last week against the Falcons with 310 passing yards and 2 touchdowns. Brisset now gets an easier matchup than the Falcons with the Oakland Raiders and their 11 QB hits on the year coming to play in Indy. The Colts have the fifth-highest team total of the week which really should end any debate on who the best streaming QB of the week is. Brisset will be under no pressure, has a healthy team total and has been extremely efficient through three games under Frank Reich.

Kicker Fantasy Football Streamers

Jason Myers – Last week’s top streaming option is a SLAM DUNK streamer this week. The Arizona Cardinals are the fastest offense in football and as such, they are allowing the most opposition possessions per game. With a healthy team total in one of the fastest projected pace games of the week, Myers might have a great chance to get to double-digits. Every kicker who has played the Cardinals in 2019 has gotten at least eight fantasy points.

Adam VinatieriWe all thought that he would be retiring just two short weeks ago but made five kicks (three extra points and two field goals) in the Colts week three win over Atlanta. The Colts now welcome a weak Oakland Raiders team to their stadium and have a 26 point team total. High team total, at home, playing indoors and against a bad defense. This is the recipe of what a successful kicker streamer looks like.

Matt Bryant – The Falcons have been disappointing on offense and that has trickled down to Matt Bryant but they return in Week Four with a 25 point team total and play a gross football team that just allowed Josh Lambo to have a top 12 kicker day. The Falcons are also playing at home in this game which means they are playing indoors, a friendly environment for kickers in general. Just like Vinatieri, Bryant is at home, has a healthy team and is playing indoors.

Tight End Fantasy Football Streamers

Gerald Everett – In the first full game that Everett played without Tyler Higbee, he was able to be on the field for 88% of the Los Angeles Rams offensive snaps. That right there makes him a viable fantasy asset. The Rams have a 30 point team total this week against Tampa Bay and Everett will likely see between four to seven targets while being on the field for all the high-value offensive snaps. If you do not have a good fantasy tight end or are relying on someone who has been extremely mediocre thus far, Everett is an awesome high-ceiling option this week who could turn in to a multi-week starter.

Jack Doyle – The Colts passing game, outside of T.Y Hilton, has essentially been a mess in terms of projecting volume but finally, Doyle SHOULD be able to get more consistent work. T.Y Hilton is not practicing as of Wednesday and left Sunday’s game early with a quad contusion. We should expect Deon Cain and Parris Campbell to play more than in the first three weeks but Doyle and Ebron are veterans that are familiar with the system in Indianapolis. If Hilton doesn’t play, Doyle should see an uptick in targets (he has still been close to a full-time player) and finally be a reasonable start in 12 team leagues.

Defense/Special Teams Fantasy Football Streamers

Structural DST Streaming Philosophy: The core tenants of finding a good streaming defense are finding a home defense that is going to face a lot of passing attempts. While your league settings might differ, in general, what we are chasing is sacks, turnovers and the main goal is finding DST touchdowns. DST touchdowns happen most often on passing plays as opposed to rushing plays.

Pittsburgh Steelers – This is an absolutely awesome week for defensive streamers. Pittsburgh, the Colts and the Broncos are all in elite spots as they play at home as favorites against turn0ver prone QB’s who take a lot of sacks. The Steelers generated five turnovers against Jimmy G and the 49ers last week and welcome Andy Dalton to a situation he has historically been awful in. Pittsburgh won’t jump out to leads as easily with Mason Rudolph but they are projected to win this game comfortably and that is great for the Steelers DST.

Indianapolis Colts – Defenses against the Oakland Raiders on the road this year are just going to be in a good spot. The Raiders are not going to be capable of controlling jams and running the ball against better teams, especially away from home. Derek Carr has 38 and 34 pass attempts in his last two games, three interceptions and took seven sacks in those two games. The Colts are a good-enough home defense who have the opportunity to create DST fantasy points in Week Four.

Denver Broncos – Hilariously enough, the Broncos are actually the worst defense in many fantasy leagues that do not give negative points for points allowed. They have ZERO sacks through three games. Given their defensive personnel, it seems unlikely that it will continue. Gardner Minshew has been a great story for two and a half games but traveling to play in Denver is one of the hardest spots in the NFL as it relates to travel and the Broncos are basically free in any league.
