Seahawks vs Jaguars - NFL Sunday Odds & Analyst Pick

Week 14 NFL action continues Sunday with a full slate of games. Let's take a closer look at the Seahawks-Jaguars matchup that AccuScore sim data has a unique take on. Vegas has the home Jaguars as slight favorites, but AccuScore data is on the other side of that line.

    Vegas Odds
There's hasn't been a lot of movement on the spread or total in this matchup since the lines opened.

    Betting Line: Jacksonville Jaguars -2.5
    Total: 39.5

At the time of publication, close to 65 percent of the public were taking Seattle on the road.

60-plus percent of the action on the total has been on the OVER.

    Betting Trends

    - Seattle is 7-2 straight up (SU) in its last nine games.
    - The total has gone UNDER in 4 of the Seahawks' last 5 games.
    - Seattle is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games on the road.
    - The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Seattle's last 6 games on the road.

    What to Watch For
Vegas Odds vs AccuScore Sim Data: It's not a must-win game but currently sitting at the No. 5 seed, the Seahawks need to treat it as one. They're coming off a huge win last week against Philadelphia and will look to carry that momentum with them on the road in EverBank Field.

Why is AccuScore favoring the road side more than Vegas is? Lots of variables go into play, but just look at their performance last week -- the defense, despite its injuries, held a potent Eagles offense to just 10 points.

MVP: Seahawks QB Russell Wilson was really good against Philly. He finished with 3 TDs while completing 20 of 31 of his passes for 227 yards; he also hadded 31 yards on the ground with 6 six carries. He's in the MVP discussion and all signs point to another big-time performance this weekend. Their pass blocking has been sub par, but Wilson has made the best of the situation -- as was clear against an Eagles pass rush known for its ability to limit opposing QBs.

Wilson is projected to finish with 265 passing yards and 2 TDs.

Fun Fact: The Seahawks last faced the Jaguars in 2013 when Seattle won 45-17.

Falcons vs Saints - NFL Thursday Odds & Analyst Pick

Week 14 in the NFL kicks off Thursday night in Atlanta as the Falcons host the New Orleans Saints on a weekend where the Saints will look to sneak into second place in the NFC -- with either the Eagles or Vikings loss. Atlanta, on the other hand, needs to win to stay in the wild card race.

    Vegas Odds
There has been a lot of movement on the spread since New Orleans opened as 4-point favorites. Some books even had the spread switch completely to the other side, moving five points to make the Falcons a 1-point favorite. At the time of publication, though, most books across Vegas had this matchup as a pick 'em.

The total opened at 54.5 before dropping a couple points.

Betting Line: Pick 'Em or New Orleans Saints -1
    Total: 52

At the time of publication, close to 57 percent of the public were taking New Orleans on the road.

56 percent of the action on the total has been on the OVER.

    Betting Trends
    - The total has gone OVER in 10 of New Orleans' last 15 games.
    - The total has gone OVER in 17 of Atlanta's last 25 games

    What to Watch For

Public Action: According to a recent report, publicly backed teams are just 4-8-1 in Thursday night games this season. With the Saints getting the majority of the public action, there's some solace in knowing the simulation data is supporting the home side -- and going against Vegas.

Backs Running Wild: New Orleans RB Albin Kamara had nine carries for 60 yards and two TDs and caught five of six targets for 66 yards in last week's 31-21 win over the Carolina Panthers. His production has been ridiculous, especially when you consider he never really gets close to 20 touches. It's practically a guarantee of late that he'll find the end zone.

Matty Ice: Falcons QB Matt Ryan completed 16 of 29 passes for 173 yards during last week's14-9 loss to the Vikings. Ryan was pretty, pretty bad last week, recording his lowest total yardage for the season. Ryan is projected to finish Thursday night's game with 289 yards, 2 TDs and a win.

Tennessee Titans at Pittsburgh Steelers: TNF Analyst Pick

The Pittsburgh Steelers haven't necessarily looked dominant in every quarter of every game, but they are what their record says they are. 7-2 sitting atop the AFC with the New England Patriots. The Steelers will look for their fifth straight win when they host the Tennessee Titans Thursday night to kick off Week 11 in the NFL.

    Vegas Odds
There has been practically no movement on the spread or total since they opened Monday night.

    Betting Line: Pittsburgh Steelers -7
    Total: 44

At the time of publication, the public was split even on the spread. 60 percent of the wagers on the total have been on the OVER.

AccuScore has all picks for Thursday & Week 11, including a free forecast with picks, trends and player projections: All of AccuScore's NFL Picks

    Betting Trends
-Tennessee is 0-3-1 against the spread (ATS) in its last four games in November. -Pittsburgh is 5-1 ATS vs teams with a winning record. The Titans are 6-3. -The UNDER is 7-0 in the Steelers' last seven games after recording fewer than than 90 rushing yards rushing in their previous game. They had just 88 rushing yards (80 by Le'veon Bell) last week against the Indianapolis Colts.

    What to Watch For
Pittsburgh improved to 5-1 on the road last week after coming back from down 14 to win 20-17 over the Colts. QB Ben Roethlisberger enters Week 11 completing about 61 percetn of his passes with a passer rating of 83.8 -- his lowest in almost a decade. He clearly comes through, though, when it counts the most.

Roethlesberger is projected to finish with 269 passing yards and 2 TDs. He averages just 0.6 INTs per simulation.

Titans RB DeMarco Murray finally had himself a game in Week 10, finish with 2 TDs to help Tennessee win 24-20. Although he's coming off a strong performance where he carried the ball 14 times and added 4 receptions, he has only gone over 14 rushes once this season. He's a goal-line threat, though, and there's always value in that.

He's projected to finish with 60 yards on 16 carries. He averages just 0.3 TDs per sim.

Week 2 in the NFL did not disappoint we had a ton of great games, and a lot of big wins. We hope you are following ourpicks against the spread, but don’t worry we have another week coming up here soon which is another opportunity to build your bank roll. Check out some of our favorite games from week 2 below, and click around to get ready for week 3.

    Atlanta Falcons 39 - 40 Dallas Cowboys

The Falcons have produced another epic meltdown, as they had a 99.9 percent probability to win this game but ended losing it late in the final quarter. The Falcons raced out to a 20-0 lead in the first quarter and were up 29-10 by halftime, as they controlled the flow of the game during the first three quarters with ease -- they held a 15-point lead (39-24) in the fourth quarter as well. The Cowboys then produced three unanswered scoring drives and came away with the victory with a 46-yard field goal from Greg Zuerlein with only four seconds left on the clock. Dak Prescott completed 34 of 47 passes for 450 yards and one touchdown while adding 18 yards and three scores through the ground. Ezekiel Elliott recorded 89 yards and a score on 22 carries, while CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper each reached the 100-yard plateau when it came to receiving yards. Matt Ryan tossed four touchdown passes and racked up 273 aerial yards, but it wasn’t enough -- Calvin Ridley was the biggest beneficiary of Ryan’s performance since he ended with 109 yards and two scores in seven receptions.

Detroit Lions 21 - 42 Green Bay Packers

The Lions got off to an impressive start against the Packers and held a 14-3 lead following the first quarter, but Green Bay would outscore Detroit 39-7 in the remaining three quarters to secure a comfortable win at Lambeau Field. Lions’ receiver Marvin Jones completed 84 straight games with a catch and produced a score on four receptions, while Adrian Peterson notched 41 yards on seven rushing attempts. Matthew Stafford was far from his best, though, completing “only” 20 of his 33 passes for 244 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. At the other end, Aaron Rodgers wasn’t that much better -- completed 18 of 30 passes for 240 yards and two scores -- but the real star of the game was Aaron Jones, who racked up 168 yards and two touchdowns in just 18 carries, averaging an impressive 9.3 yards per attempt. Jones also added four receptions for 68 yards and another touchdown.

No matter how you like to bet on football our friends at BetQL have you covered. If you are looking for the most updatedmoneyline odds, spreads, or picks BetQL has it all for every game and every bet type.

Carolina Panthers 17 - 31 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tom Brady tossed a first-quarter touchdown pass to Mike Evans and Leonard Fournette added two rushing scores as the Buccaneers secured their first win of the season with a 31-17 victory over the Panthers on Sunday afternoon. The biggest story of the game wasn’t Brady’s first win as Tampa Bay’s starting quarterback, however, because star running back Christian McCaffrey limped out of the game after scoring a touchdown in the fourth quarter and is expected to be out for “multiple weeks”. Brady was sharp, completing 23 of 35 passes for 217 yards, a touchdown and an interception, but Fournette carried the Buccaneers in this one with 103 yards and two touchdowns in only 12 carries. Mike Evans racked up 104 yards and a touchdown on seven receptions. As for the Panthers, Bridgewater completed 33 of 42 passes for 367 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions, while McCaffrey had 18 carries for 59 yards and two scores. D.J. Moore (120 yards on eight receptions) and Robby Anderson (109 yards on nine grabs) each topped the 100-yard plateau for the Panthers.

NFL Wild Card Saturday: LA Rams vs Atlanta Falcons

NFL on a Saturday? Yup, that's exactly what we've got this weekend as the NFL slate gives us two matchups on a Saturday for wild card weekend.

Let's take a closer look at the matchup in Los Angeles that should have plenty of public and sharp action. The Rams, in just their second season in L.A., get set to host the Atlanta Falcons at the LA Memorial Coliseum.

The Rams opened up at 5-point favorites at home before some public action pushed it up 1-to-1.5 points ,depending on when and where you're looking. The total saw similar movement, just the other way; the total settled in at 48 or 48.5 after opening at 50.

Betting Line: Los Angeles Rams -6.5
    Total: 48/48.5

At the time of publication, the public was about 50-50 in terms of laying or taking the points.

63 percent of the action on the total has been on the OVER.

    All of AccuScore's NFL picks
NFL Expert Picks – Wildcard Weekend

    Betting Trends

    • The total has gone OVER in five of the Rams' last five games.
    • The total has gone UNDER in five of Atlanta's last five games.
    • The Rams are 4-10-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last 15 games at home.
    • The UNDER is 4-0 in the Falcons' last four matchups against a team with a winning record.
    • The Rams are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 Saturday games.

    What to Watch For
Make vs the Pass Rush: Back in 2015, the Atlanta Falcons went ahead and passed on RB Todd Gurley. Dan Quinn could have had Gurley, but went ahead and selected pass rusher Vic Beasley. It seems to be working out just fine on both sides, but there's no doubt Gurley will look to remind Atlanta what they missed out on. He put up over 2,000 yards from scrimmage and scored close to 20 TDs this year -- he's easily one of best weapons any team has in the backfield.

Gurley is projected to finish with 111 yards on 16-to-17 carries. He averages 1 TD per sim. He also adds close to 30 receiving yards on three receptions.

Falcons' Defense: The Falcons just might be one of the tougher matchups for the Rams on the ground. They have a top-10 defense that has allowed just one team in their last six games to rush for over 100 yards. In the same vain, Atlanta has allowed more than 23 points in only two games this season. They're pretty, pretty good at staying within a TD given the improved defense in the second half of the season, and QB Matt Ryan getting back on track of late.

The Falcons defense is projected to force more than 1 takeaway in Saturday's game, with there being about two times the probability of an INT than a recovered fumble.

Ryan is projected to finish with 239 passing yards, and 1-to-2 TDs. He averages close to four times as many TDs as he does INTs. .

Packers vs Bucs - Preview, Odds & Free Analyst Pick

The Green Bay Packers are still holding onto to the hope that Aaron Rodgers returns this season, with recent reports indicating he could play in 2-3 weeks. That means if the Packers can get wins this week against Tampa Bay and next week against Cleveland, the postseason isn't completely out of the picture. The Bucs -- coming off a 30-20 loss to the Atlanta Falcons -- will get QB Jameis Winston back in the starting lineup this week.

Winston is projected to finish with 218 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT.

The Bucs defense is coming off a game in which they gave up 516 yards to the Falcons, 253 of which went to Julio Jones.

AccuScore's Top Betting Trends of the Week: Dec. 20, 2017

The NFL season is approaching the climax with the playoff race heated to boiling temperatures and the best teams aiming to get first round byes. Accuscore’s predictions have been steady since start of the season. Even though against the spread (ATS) is just about breaking even, TOTALS bets have brought a profit of 1350 units with 100 units wagered on every game.

In addition, AFC North games have been a hot trend moneybank of the season. These AFC North games have yielded +2170 profit for all of AccuScore's ATS and TOTALS picks.

Another trend that is good to highlight is the ATS results in the games where Accuscore predicted line is within 2.5 points to Vegas line. Games fitting this criteria have resulted in profit of +2210 since start of the season.

AccuScore has all expert picks for NFL Thursday, Sunday and Monday live: NFL Picks

The NBA season has been on the way without any great upsets or disappointments. Maybe Oklahoma City hasn’t played as well as predicted, but the season is long and OKC still has time to right the ship given its new additions. With about a third of the season gone, the NBA's profitability factor can now begin to be evaluated. When betting each and every game in TOTALS, Money Line, Point Spread and Side Value markets, bettors have resulted over 1000 profit since start of the season with 100 bet. This may not be a massive return, but current season data takes time to integrate, and being positive at this stage is a great sign.

So far, the best performing market has been NBA totals when Accuscore has predicted UNDER over 50% of the time. Vegas linemakers have seemingly adjusted their lines too much based on the NBA game changing into a 3-point shooting contest. Accuscore's TOTALS bets are +3040 on green since start of the season. During last 4 days also, Side Value bets have resulted over 400 profit. We hope that this trend continues through the Holiday season and into 2018.
