1. Calvin Johnson (DET): Surprisingly, Megatron went two straight games without a receiving touchdown. He still finished with five catches for 89 yards. Despite the scoring drought, Johnson is a must-start on any team. Projected fantasy points: 14.8.
2. Wes Welker (NE): Welker had his second straight disappointing game on Monday night, finishing with just two catches for 22 yards. This Sunday the Pats play the Eagles in Philadelphia. Don’t expect the Patriots or Welker to be shut down like the Giants were. Projected fantasy points: 12.4.
3. Percy Harvin (MIN): Harvin scored his first touchdown of the year against the Raiders last Sunday. With Adrian Peterson out, the Vikings will have to rely more on the pass. Harvin is the best receiver on the team, and will likely get significantly more looks. Projected fantasy points: 12.1.
4. Greg Jennings (GB): Jennings had an uncharacteristically poor game against the Bucs. He finished with just two receptions for six yards. Jennings leads the team in receptions, so expect him to bounce back against the Lions on Thanksgiving. Projected fantasy points: 11.8.
5. Vincent Jackson (SD): Jackson had a huge game in the loss to the Bears on Sunday. He caught seven passes for 165 yards and a touchdown. The Chargers have struggled for a while now, but Jackson is too good to keep on the bench. Projected fantasy points: 11.0.
Not top 5, but could be: This week’s wide receiver that missed the cut is Atlanta’s Roddy White. Last Sunday, White caught seven passes for 147 yards. The Falcons play the Vikings this week. Minnesota’s defense has been awful against the pass, so I’m expecting White to have another big game. Projected fantasy points: 10.7.
