1. Aaron Rodgers (GB): Rodgers has made himself comfortable at number one and isn’t likely to drop this season. If you doubt him, you’re probably also at the bottom of your fantasy league. Projected fantasy points: 23.0.

2. Tom Brady (NE): Tom Brady diced up the Eagles defense last week. He threw for 361 yards and three touchdowns. He may not be this year’s MVP, but he’s still as good as they come. Projected fantasy points: 22.3.

3. Drew Brees (NO): Breezy out did Brady on Monday night, handing the G-Men their collective butts. Number nine threw for 363 yards and four touchdowns. It’s kind of unfair he’s just number three on this list, but that’s what happens when Rodgers and Brady are healthy. Projected fantasy points: 22.3.

4. Cam Newton (CAR): Cam had a solid, albeit not great, game against the Colts. He threw for 208 yards, and ran for 54 yards and a touchdown. He runs the ball better than most running backs, which makes him fantasy gold. Projected fantasy points: 18.6.

5. Tony Romo (DAL): Romo takes the last spot on the list after a so-so game against the Dolphins. The Dallas quarterback threw for 226 yards, two touchdowns, and two picks. The Cowboys play the Cardinals on Sunday, so Romo should bounce back just fine. Projected fantasy points: 17.0.

Not top 5, but could be: This week’s quarterback that missed the cut is Pittsburgh’s Ben Roethlisberger. The refrigerator with a head did just enough to beat the Chiefs on Sunday, throwing for a touchdown and an interception. The Steelers have a big game against the Bengals coming up, and I’m expecting Big Ben to rise to the occasion. Projected fantasy points: 16.9.
