1. Stephen Gostkowski (NE): Gostkowski takes the top spot this week. He missed his fourth field goal of the year against the Eagles, but still remains one of the top scoring kickers in the league. Projected fantasy points: 11.3.

2. Dan Bailey (DAL): Bailey was perfect again last week in the late win over the Dolphins. He has won multiple games for the Cowboys, which makes him an automatic start on just about every roster. Projected fantasy points: 10.9.

3. John Kasay (NO): The Saints were too busy scoring touchdowns to give Kasay any real work. He converted seven extra points in the win. He put up decent points without attempting a single field goal, which is a good sign for fantasy owners. Projected fantasy points: 10.2.

4. Mason Crosby (GB): Crosby is similar to Kasay in that they tend to get a lot of their points off extra points. Owners would like to see more field foals, but the Packers score too many points for Crosby to take up anyone’s bench spot. Projected fantasy points: 9.8.

5. Shaun Suisham (PIT): Suisham sent two more field goals and one more extra point through the uprights against the Chiefs. He’s not the most accurate kicker, but he gets plenty of opportunities to put up points. Projected fantasy points: 9.1.

Not top 5, but could be: This week’s kicker that missed the cut is San Francisco’s David Akers. Akers gets a ton of work with the Niners. He has made 28 field goals, including six from over 50 yards. The guy is consistently good, and my pick to outperform AccuScore’s projections. Projected fantasy points: 8.9.
