Super Bowl Prop Bets – Point Spreads

AccuScore is picking the Seattle Seahawks to edge the New England Patriots on Super Bowl Sunday, but the point spread prop bets gave our computer the perfect opportunity to provide extra analysis on which Super Bowl 49 prop bets offer the best value...

1.PATRIOTS -7.5 +260
SEAHAWKS +7.5 -310

AccuScore gives New England just under a 29 percent chance of covering a -7.5 spread. Not a whole lot of value in a pick like this.

2.PATRIOTS -10.5 +375
SEAHAWKS +10.5 -450

At +10.5, despite the steep ML, we start seeing some value as AccuScore gives Seattle nearly an 80 percent chance of covering. The game is projected to be decided within one field goal - getting another 7 points on top of that is more than appealing.

Super Bowl 2015 Predictions
Straight up, AccuScore is giving the Seahawks slight 52.7% edge

3.PATRIOTS -14.5 +500
SEAHAWKS +14.5 -700

There’s not a whole lot of movement from +10.5 to +14.5 when it comes to winning probability. The +10.5 at -450 is close to 80 percent while the +14.5 at -700 is at about 85 percent. Both are very likely to happen, but the -450 ML is a lot more acceptable than a -700.

4.PATRIOTS +10.5 -450
SEAHAWKS -10.5 +375

AccuScore gives Seattle about a 27 percent chance of covering a -10.5 spread. It clearly doesn’t happen often in simulations, but it does happen about once in every four games. A small wager on Seattle covering -10.5 is appealing, given the +375 line.

LaGarrette Blount – 62.5 rushing yards: UNDER
Although Blount is projected to carry the ball about 13 times, AccuScore doesn’t indicate much value on taking the OVER. In fact, he has about a 47-48 percent chance of going over 60 yards, making the UNDER a much safer pick.
