1. Aaron Rodgers (GB): It shouldn’t surprise anyone that Aaron Rodgers is the top projected quarterback for week 10. Rodgers was spectacular yet again against the Chargers in week nine. He completed 21 of 26 passes for 247 yards and four touchdowns. His average quarterback rating this season is a ridiculous 129.1. Projected fantasy points: 26.1.

2. Cam Newton (CAR): The stellar rookie is a distant second this week. Newton put up great numbers in week eight against the Minnesota Vikings. He threw for 290 yards and three touchdowns. Newton will face the Titans defense this weekend at home. Cam has put up good numbers all year, so don’t expect that to change. Projected fantasy points: 21.1.

3. Michael Vick (PHI): Vick is coming off one of his worst games of the year against the Chicago Bears on Monday night football. The quarterback threw for just 213 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception. The Bears deserve a lot of credit for shutting down Vick throughout the game. He should bounce back in week 10 against a struggling Arizona Cardinals. Projected fantasy points: 21.0.

4. Drew Brees (NO): Brees had a solid fantasy day against the Bucs last Sunday. Number nine finished with a quarterback rating of 101.4 and threw two touchdowns. This weekend the Saints play a Falcons team that is ranked 19th in opposing passing yards. Expect Brees to put together another good performance. Projected fantasy points: 20.1.

5. Josh Freeman (TB): Freeman played well in the loss to New Orleans. He threw for 281 yards and a touchdown. The Bucs play the Texans on Sunday. Houston has a very good defense, ranked second and fourth in opponent passing and rushing yards respectively. Freeman is going to have his hands full, but is forecasted to finish with good fantasy numbers at home. Projected fantasy points: 17.8.

Not top 5, but could be: This week’s quarterback that missed the cut, but is in position to have a big game is Dallas’ Tony Romo. Romo finished with two touchdowns and 279 passing yards against the Seahawks last Sunday. This weekend the Cowboys host the Bills. Buffalo’s defense has been the team’s weakest link all year, and I’m expecting Romo to dice up its secondary in front of a home crowd. Projected fantasy points: 16.2.
