1. Alex Henery (PHI): Alex Henery takes the top spot for the first time this year. Henery did not have a great fantasy day on Monday as the Bears gave the Eagles offense trouble all night. He finished with one field goal and three extra points. This Sunday he should put up better numbers against a poor Arizona team. Projected fantasy points: 10.0.

2. Dan Bailey (DAL): Bailey made fantasy owners happy this week with three made field goals and two extra points in the win against Seattle. Bailey has missed only one field goal this year and averages slightly fewer than three attempts per game. Projected fantasy points: 9.7.

3. Nick Novak (SD): Novak fantasy owners benefited from the shootout between the San Diego Chargers and the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Novak nailed a field goal from over 50 yards and converted five extra points. This week the Chargers play the Raiders at home. Expect Novak to get a little over two field goal attempts. Projected fantasy points: 9.7.

4. Mason Crosby (GB): The Chargers-Packers shootout also benefited kicker Mason Crosby. He sent one field goal and six extra points through the uprights. The Packers score at will, which provides Crosby plenty of extra point attempts. It doesn’t matter who the Packers are playing, Crosby is a must start. Projected fantasy points: 9.5.

5. John Kasay (NO): Kasay missed his third field goal of the year in the win over Tampa Bay. The kicker still finished with two made field goals and three extra points. Kasay is projected to get over two field goal attempts and three extra points in week 10. Projected fantasy points: 9.4.

Not top 5, but could be: The kicker that just missed the cut is Miami’s Dan Carpenter. The Dolphins won their first game of the season this past Sunday in which Carpenter nailed one field and four extra points. Miami hosts Washington this week. The Redskins defense is decent, but I’m expecting the Dolphins offense to continue to roll. Projected fantasy points: 8.9.
