POINT GUARDS
Top Performer
Stephen Curry (SAC @ GS) - $9,400
Curry is projected for a whopping 39 fantasy points tonight. Although he has shot just 35.9 percent in two games against Sacramento this season, he has still averaged 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists in those games. The Warriors need this win desperately so look for Curry to go off with a big game.
Under the Radar
John Wall (WAS @ MIN) - $6,400
In two games this week Wall is averaging 16 points and 6 assists on 52 percent shooting. Even more importantly, he has averaged 37 minutes in those two games. Wall is projected for 25 fantasy points, and is starting to look like himself, and is capable of exploding for a big game at any time.
SHOOTING GUARDS
Top Performer
Kobe Bryant (LAL @ NO) - $9,900
Kobe tweaked his elbow in Oklahoma City, but he has a great history of playing and playing well through injuries. He is still projected for nearly 38 fantasy points against a Hornets team that doesn’t have the quality bodies to bother him on defense.
Under the Radar
Joe Johnson (BKN @ CHA) - $5,500
Johnson is priced this low because he missed a few games with a heel injury, and hasn’t played terrifically since. Still, he is one of the best shooting guards in the league, is going against one of the worst teams in the league, and is projected for nearly 26 fantasy points. It is rare to get an All-Star caliber player at this low a price.
SMALL FORWARDS
Top Performer
LeBron James (ORL @ MIA) - $9,900
If you take one player tonight make it LeBron. He is the best player in basketball and he routinely shows it night after night. Really, the only worry tonight is that Miami is up big early on Orlando and doesn’t play his usual 37-40 minutes. Still, he can put up amazing stat lines in limited minutes and he is projected for a whopping 45.5 fantasy points tonight by AccuScore.
Under the Radar
Chandler Parsons (HOU @ DAL) - $7,000
All the splits point toward a big night for Parsons: 20.7 PPG since the All-Star break, 26.5 PPG in two games in March, and 22.7 PPG and 6.3 REB on 54.5 percent shooting in three games against Dallas. He is projected for almost 24 fantasy points by AccuScore, but is always capable of even bigger games nightly because of his varied offensive game.
Power Forwards
Top Performer
David Lee (SAC @ GS) - $8,800
Carmelo is actually the top projected power forward, but given his questionable injury status I am giving you Lee. He is projected for 34 fantasy points with better than 20 and 11. He is averaging 24.5 points in two games against the Kings this season.
Under the Radar
Derrick Favors (UT @ CLE) - $6,200
Favors is projected for 25.2 fantasy points, more than several of his more expensive brethren. Cleveland’s front line is not imposing, and the energy of Favors could lead to a big game at a low cost.
CENTERS
Top Performer
Al Horford (PHI @ ATL) - $9,200
Horford is basically projected for a 20/10 every night, but the kicker here is that he is forecasted to get 4.5 assists against the Sixers for a projected total of 33 fantasy points. The second pick here would be Joakim Noah who is forecasted for 30+ points as well, but is $900 cheaper.
Under the Radar
Chris Bosh (ORL @ MIA) - $6,200
It is basically impossible for any of Miami’s All-Stars to be under the radar, but here is Bosh at a bargain price. He is posting very pedestrian numbers (11.6 PPG, 5.0 REB) since the All-Star break, but he is obviously capable of exploding in any game and the other cheaper center options do not look very enticing.
