Arizona vs UCLA: Pac-12 Tournament Final

AccuScore is the most trusted name in sports predictions and has worked with ESPN, CBS Sportsline, Yahoo Sports and countless other top names in the industry. Take a look at AccuScore's Top College Basketball Picks for today's games.

Arizona has played at an elite level all year and can virtually guarantee itself a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament by winning their first Pac-12 title in 12 years. The conference may have expanded but the Pac-12 title this year features the Wildcat defensive juggernaut and the ever-so-familiar UCLA Bruins. Both teams have had a fairly easy road to the title game, facing little resistance in the first few rounds. More impressive than Arizona’s wins over Utah and Colorado was UCLA’s rout over both Oregon and Stanford. Can the Bruins continue their hot shooting against the best defense they’ll face all year?

Appetizer

Arizona held both Utah and Colorado to under 30% FG, while UCLA is coming off a win over Stanford in which they shot better than 65 percent from the field. History seems to be in favor of anyone hoping to bet in favor of UCLA – the underdog is 6-1 against the spread (ATS) in the last seven Pac-12 title games. UCLA defeated Arizona 66-64 in last year’s tournament semi-finals. Arizona coach Sean Miller – who cost his team some momentum a technical foul late in that game – will look to avenge that tough loss.

Main Course

Arizona is no stranger to the Pac-12 title game, having reached the final stage in three of the last four years. Their defensive efficiency was off the charts in the second half of their 63-43 win over Colorado, holding the Buffaloes to just five field goals. Tonight’s matchup against UCLA won’t be as much of a cakewalk with the Bruins entering the game as the nation’s No. 9 most efficient offense. UCLA’s Kyle Anderson, who led the Bruins with 24 points against Arizona in last year’s semifinal game, is averaging 55.2% FG over his last three games.

Appetizer (Betting Trends)
