Last week, I made 3 picks. I got both my Bundesliga picks spot on, but unfortunately, Fiorentina’s match got cancelled. This week, I’ve got 3 more picks, and at this point, my picks record is 39-19 on the season with +2,532 units of profit. I don’t always go with the computer, but I always pick value. This means, I’m not choosing matches that offer even money or close to it:
This week, I’m continuing my Bundesliga streak. Last week, I stayed off Borussia Monchengladbach even though the computer saw value in it. ‘Gladbach beat Schalke and now, value on Borussia Monchengladbach winning has provided AccuScore a total of over +2600 in profit this season. It’s safe to say that ‘Gladbach have been this season’s Dortmund (AccuScore made wild profits last season by identifying Dortmund as a legitimate winner early in the season). Well, it doesn’t take an expert to figure out that Borussia Monchengladbach to win based on value is a good play.
Top 3 Picks for the Weekend of 18th February, 2012
(This week's picks: 2 Bundesliga & 1 Serie A again)
1: Borussia Monchengladbach v Kaiserslautern: ‘Gladbach to win at 2.33
Better than even odds for the 3rd best side in the Bundesliga against the 3rd worst side in the Bundesliga? Yes, that’s what’s on offer this weekend. Mike Hanke is set to miss the trip, but Marco Reus is declared fit. Igor de Camargo should deputize, and that makes for a decent fill-in. As long as Marco Reus is fit, I like ‘Gladbach’s chances. Afterall, we are still talking about arguably the best side in the Bundesliga going up against a relegation threatened team. Easy bet with definite value, in my opinion. The computer has this match at 56.5% for Monchengladbach to win compared to only 42.1% from the current odds. Get this pick quick!!!
