Aaron Rodgers (GB): The Packers destroyed the Raiders, despite Rodgers playing his worst game of the season. That’s right. His worst performance was throwing for 281 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Projected fantasy points: 23.3. 2. Drew Brees (NO): Brees had his fourth straight game with more than 300 yards passing. He also threw two touchdowns in the win over the Titans. Brees’ offensive numbers are filthy, and the Vikings aren’t going to slow him down in week 15. Projected fantasy points: 22.7. 3. Tom Brady (NE): When Brad wasn’t yelling at his offensive coordinator, he was playing very well against the Redskins. He threw for 357 yards and three touchdowns, with his only mistake being an interception in the end zone late in the game. Projected fantasy points: 20.2. 4. Tony Romo (DAL): Romo had a huge game, but ended up with a loss because of a poor defense. He threw for 321 yards and four touchdowns. The Cowboys are in trouble and need a win, so expect Romo to step up big against the Bucs this weekend. Projected fantasy points: 20.2. 5. Cam Newton (CAR): Newton underperformed and had a costly pick in the loss to the Falcons. He finished with 276 passing yards, two touchdowns, and two picks. The Panthers face a tough Texans defense this weekend. Newton is the Panthers’ only real offensive weapon, so he’s bound to get plenty of fantasy points. Projected fantasy points: 18.6. Not top 5, but could be: This week’s quarterback that missed the cut is Denver’s Tim Tebow. Every week some player talks trash, and ends up looking like a fool after being Tebowed. Sometimes, players (cough Urlacher cough) talk trash even after losing. Tebow continues to win, and this week should add a solid stat line. The Broncos face a Patriots team that is weak defensively. I’m expecting Tebow to rack up the fantasy points on the ground and in the air. Projected fantasy points: 16.4.
