Tampa Bay Buccaneers Season Preview
Expected to be one of the worst teams in the league a year ago, Tampa Bay surprised everyone winning 10 games and almost making the postseason. That season seemed to validate the hiring of the inexperienced Raheem Morris, and now he has to prove that it wasn’t a fluke.

Tampa is projected to be third in the NFC North behind New Orleans and Atlanta, but with a solid record. The team is averaging 8.3 wins per season simulation, and is winning the division nearly 16 percent of the time. There is also a 39 percent chance the team makes the playoffs.

The Bucs made great strides last season on both sides of the ball starting with establishing Josh Freeman as the quarterback of the future as well as the here and now. LeGarrette Blount was picked up off the scrap heap and ended up rushing for over 1000 yards. Receiver Mike Williams also broke out with nearly 1000 yards and 11 touchdowns. Tampa actually got very little from its top two picks in 2010 in defensive tackles Brian Price and Gerald McCoy. Two defensive ends were added to that mix this year in Adrian Clayborn and DaQuan Bowers in what could form a nice young core of players on the line.
