1. Matt Bryant (ATL): What separates kickers from other offensive players in fantasy football is that kickers thrive when the team isn’t scoring touchdowns but is getting close. In week 2, Matt Bryant and the Falcons are facing the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles have a formidable defense that likely will force the Atlanta offense to settle for plenty field goals, which means more points for Bryant. Projected fantasy points: 10.0.

2. Shaun Suisham (PIT): The Steelers were awful on offense against the Ravens in week 1. So much so that Suisham only got one fantasy point. However, the Steelers are facing the Seahawks in week two, which should allow the Steelers offense to get going and into position for some Suisham field goals. Projected fantasy points: 9.5.

3. Mason Crosby (GB): To put it simply, the Packers score points and lots of them. Against a poor Carolina defense Green Bay’s offense should be free to march up and down the field, either into the end zone or in range for Crosby. It shouldn’t surprise you if Crosby ends up getting fantasy points on nearly every drive. Projected fantasy points: 9.1.

4. Billy Cundiff (BAL): Billy Cundiff ended up with a good fantasy day in week 1 because the Ravens offense was firing on all cylinders. This week the Ravens face the Titans, a decent defensive team, but not on the same level as the Steelers. If Baltimore continues to roll, Cundiff will have a solid day in Tennesse. Projected fantasy points: 9.0.

5. John Kasay (NO): New Orleans lost in week one to the Packers, but not because of an inability to put points on the board. Kasay finished with 10 points last week off two field goals and four extra points. In week 2, the Saints face a tougher defense in the Bears. The Bears defense is likely to bend but not break, meaning the Saints will be forced to settle for field goals, which is great for Kasay owners. Projected fantasy points: 8.9.
