NFL Sunday - Ravens vs Raiders: Analyst Pick
Losers of two in a row, both the Oakland Raiders and Baltimore Ravens will look to turn things around this Sunday. All eyes will be on quarterback play this weekend -- Raiders QB Derek Carr is projected to be out anywhere from two-to-six weeks, and Ravens QB Joe Flacco enters the matchup with just a 65.0 passer rating.
The Raiders are currently listed at 3-point favorites, with the total set at 39.5.
Vegas Odds
There hasn't been a whole lot of movement since the line opened at -4 for Oakland. Same for the total, as it dropped just a half-point.
As a road underdog, the Ravens have gone 4-11 straight up (SU) and 8-7 against the spread (ATS) since 2014. As a home favorite, the Raiders -- since 2016 -- are 7-2 SU, but just 4-5 ATS.
As far as public money goes, there's about an even split right now in terms of the sides. On the total; there's a slight public lean towards the UNDER right now. All signs project the total to keep dropping as we head close to kickoff on Sunday.

Betting Trends
The Raiders are 2-4 ATS and SU in their last six games.
The total has gone UNDER in four of the Ravens' last five games.
The total has gone UNDER in four of the Raiders' last six games.
What to Watch For
Oakland's defense should have a strong performance this weekend. Through the first four weeks, they're allowing 8 yards per pass attempt and 4.3 yards per carry. The numbers definitely have room for improvement, but this Baltimore offense isn't the unit to threaten that.
The Oakland defense averages 1.4 turnovers per simulated matchup -- the probabilities indicating a nearly twice the chance of a forced INT than a forced fumble.
