Without Further delay, this week's Expert Analyst Picks:
1. FREE TWITTER PICK: AC Milan at 1.88 away to Genoa
-AC Milan won 2-0 Friday night away from home in a match that they controlled from start to finish. Pato was a last minute scratch due to a fever, but our analysts made this pick on Thursday evening/Friday morning depending on where in the world you live. He mentioned it numerous times on Twitter (@perfectpass). Follow him! This is the 2nd week in a row he’s made a Friday night pick and got it spot on.

2. Split Bet: Hertha Berlin (3.1) and Draw (3.49) away to Kaiserslautern
This is not a trends pick, but there is value in picking Hertha Berlin and the draw. Hertha have only 1 loss in their last 5 matches, and that loss came to Borussia Monchengladbach. Hertha to get points is not a huge ask against a Kaiserslaturen side that has only managed 3 wins in 14 tries this season. This split pick assumes that the 100 units being placed on this pick are split 50 on the draw and 50 on Hertha to win. Again, this is not a trends pick but it is a value pick.
3.Herha Berlin v Kaiserlaurtern – Under 2.5 goals
Hot Trends:
- 9-1 this season when AccuScore finds value on the Under with Kaiserslautern
- 54.6% of simulations resulted in these 2 teams combining for Under 2.5 goals
4.Osasuna (2.12) v Real Betis
Hot Trends:
- 5-4 with returns of 5-1 on the season when picking Betis to Lose
- 3-2 with returns of 3-1 on the season when picking Osasuna to win
English Premier League:
Chelsea faces a stern test away to Newcastle in the stadium formerly known as St. James’ Park. Chelsea are is poor form and if the mess up this fixture and the Champions League next week, Andre Villas Boas’ neck is expected on the chopping blocl
Manchester United travel to Villa Park and hope to come across some good form. Wayne Rooney and Chicharity Hernandez are expected to start in attack for the Red Devils, who are expected to collect 4 points from this fixture.
German Bundesliga
Once again, the Bundesliga provides a powerhouse of a weekend. Bayern Munich host Werder Bremen, as Claudio Pizarro fight to be fit for the match at the Allianz Arena. Bayern have had a few shock results and are without Schweinsteiger and Tymochuck, so Kroos will likely drop deeper in the midfield. Robben, Ribery, and Muller will play behind Mario Gomez.
In an even more exciting Saturday fixture, Borussia Dortmund host Borussia Monchegladbach. ‘Gladbach are without Marco Reus and face a tough test, but these are the top 2 teams in the Bundesliga, level on 29 points after 14 rounds.
La Liga
After last week’s shock defeat, every Barcelona and Real Madrid match is a must-see, as if it wasn’t anyhow. This week, Barcelona host Levante, whose strong start is long forgotten at this point. Madrid on the other hand, travel away to Sporting Gijon. However, the most exciting match in La Liga is shaping up to be Valencia hosting Espanyol at the Mestalla. Can Valencia keep up the pace with the 2 Spanish giants? Probably now, but Roberto Soldado is worth tuning in for.
Serie A:
Diego Forlan was left out of the squad hosting Udinese, but Inter Milan v Udinese is the premier match of the weekend. This Saturday night encounter is not much to look at in the table, but these 2 sides will likely be fighting it out for European spots by season’s end. If Thiago Motta starts, don’t bet against Inter. Inter have yet to lose a match this season when Motta has started. Also, Ricardo Alvarez is coming into his own with Wesley Sneijder injured.
