The Denver Broncos dodged a bullet with Pittsburgh pulling out a victory in the Wild Card game. With the Steelers’ win, Denver avoided the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs beat the Broncos in Denver back in November, and the Chiefs rolling on an 11-game winning streak expected to knock out Denver. Instead, the Patriots have to batter their way through the streaking Chiefs.

Cam Newton should win the MVP, and the Carolina Panthers expect to ride Newton past the Seattle Seahawks before putting down the Arizona Cardinals. However, the computer has the Panthers losing 43% of simulations to the Broncos, and the numbers aren’t much better against the Patriots.
