Packers vs Eagles: MNF Analyst Preview & Best Bets
On the outside looking in is where both the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles find themselves heading into Week 12's Monday Night Football (MNF) matchup in Lincoln Financial Field.
The Packers are third place in the NFC North and the Eagles are last in the NFC East. Philly's still alive in the wild card race and both sides would have a decent shot at the postseason with a win Monday.
The Eagles feature the league's top-ranked defense and Vegas oddsmakers seem to be putting their faith in that unit.

What to Watch For
The Eagles have the No. 1 defense in the league - that in itself lets them compete in every matchup. They're No. 8 in the league in yards given up per game, and No. 4 in points allowed per game. The unit has a tendency to force turnovers - No. 9 in the league in takeaways - and can credit itself in being the primary reason Philly's still alive.
Keep an eye on how often and how successfully Eagles QB Carson Wentz targets his TEs. The Packers are just one of four teams in the NFL to allow 700-plus receiving yards to opposing TEs.
