The bowl season is upon us.  Our analysts were very good this year posting a 60 percent picks record over the course of the 15 week college football season.  Jon and Bart make their picks for the first wave of bowl games on through Christmas day.  Check back later on for more installments of college football picks.

JON'S EXPERT PICKS

12/17 - Temple -6.5 vs. Wyoming – New Mexico Bowl
The big edge in this game is Temple’s Bernard Pierce and the running game against Wyoming’s 115th rated rushing defense.  Wyoming has improved dramatically this season behind freshman quarterback Brett Smith, but he is still a work in progress and is inconsistent from game to game.  The Cowboys should be able to move the ball against Temple and score some points, but the Owls running game is the difference.  Temple averaged 31 points per game despite a horrendous passing game that ranked just 117th in the country thanks in large part to Pierce.  Wyoming has survived defensively this season off turnovers.  As long as Temple does not get killed in this department, it should have enough to wear down Wyoming for a late win.
