believe but we’re already entering Week 10 of the Fantasy Football season. Enjoy it while you can! Well, it’s a little harder to enjoy it this week while we’re in BYEMAGEDDON or, as my co-host Gregg Sussman likes to call it, “bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye”. You’ll likely be forced into some uncomfortable positions but hopefully, my plays below will help you out. At the least, we finally have a week with three great primetime matchups. Knock on wood if you’re with me!

QB

Speaking of primetime, let’s start off with Kirk Cousins as the Minnesota Vikings travel to take on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night. It seems the rest of the industry is somewhat scared off Cousins, maybe because he’ll be without Adam Thielen or because Cousins has struggled in big games. Regardless, he’s played much better of late. Since Thielen called Cousins out after that dreadful game in Chicago, Cousins is the QB7 in Fantasy points per game. On top of that, he has at least three touchdown passes in three of his last four games. Cousins is also averaging a career-high 8.8 yards per attempt and that’s with Thielen banged up the past couple weeks. The Cowboys have allowed the fifth-fewest Fantasy points to quarterbacks this season but they really haven’t faced tough competition. I’m still trusting Cousins as a borderline QB1 with six teams on a bye. Due to all of those byes, you might have been left scrambling for a waiver wire quarterback. I believe Ryan Tannehill can be one of those in Week 10. Tannehill has been solid, completing nearly 72-percent of his passes, throwing for over 300 yards in two his three starts. He’s had a safe floor in Fantasy with at least 19 Fantasy point in each of the past three games. The Chiefs pass defense has been mostly good this season but they have allowed six passing touchdowns over their last two. Tannehill should be able to take advantage.

Hopefully, I’m not overreacting too hard to Devin Singletary’s performance last week but it sure looks like he’s taken over the Bills’ backfield. In Week 9, Singletary played on 66-percent of the snaps with 23 touches for 140 total yards and a touchdown. The ageless Frank Gore was given three goal-line opportunities early in this game and could not convert on any of them. Later on Singletary capitalized on a goal-line carry of his own, which gives us even more confidence in the rookie running back moving forward. It’s a good matchup for Singletary this week, too, as the Browns are allowing 4.93 yards per carry to opposing running backs and the ninth most Fantasy points to the position. I’m trusting Singletary over Todd Gurley and Tevin Coleman in Week 10. #FreeRojo has now become #RojoFreed… for now. Don’t mess this up, Bruce Arians! In Week 9, Jones played a career-high 53-percent of the snaps with 18 carries, 67 yards, and a touchdown. The 18 carries represented 78-percent of the Bucs running back carries, a massive workload. It’s a solid matchup for Jones, too, as the Cardinals are allowing 4.41 yards per carry and are 26th in run defense DVOA. The Bucs aren’t favorites often but they’re 4.5-point favorites here and should have some opportunities to run the ball in this spot. Trust RoJo as a low-end RB2 this week.

Let’s be honest. We’ve been letdown big time by a pair of young wide receivers this season: Christian Kirk and Mike Williams. Well boys, now is the time to rectify this relationship. This is not a typo: Kirk is inside my Top-12 this week. Since Kirk returned in Week 8, he leads the Cardinals with 28-percent of the target share and 36-percent of their air yards. We all know how dreadful the Bucs secondary is and Kirk should be able to take advantage here. Here are the Bucs’ defensive ranks against wide receivers this season:

24 targets per game (second-most)

15.12 receptions per game (second-most)

197.3 receiving yards per game (second-most)

1.5 receiving touchdowns per game (second-most)

The ghost of Larry Fitzgerald has fallen off a cliff. Given how strong the Bucs are against the run, the Cardinals will have to beat their defense through the air. I’m expecting a massive performance from Kirk in this spot. Mike Williams will square up with the Oakland Raiders on Thursday Night Football and it’s a similar spot. The Raiders defense cannot stop wide receivers right now. Just last week they allowed both Marvin Jones and Kenny Golladay to go over 100 yards receiving with touchdowns. On the season, the Raiders are allowing the second-most Fantasy points to wide receivers. Also, Williams has 69 yards or more in four of his last five. The weirdest part of Williams’ season is that he hasn’t scored a touchdown yet. Last year Williams scored 10 touchdowns on 66 targets. This season, he has zero touchdowns on 53 targets. The pendulum has swung too far the other way. Williams has a big game on Thursday night against the Raiders.

I actually added Gerald Everett off a few waiver wires this week and I have no clue why he was available. Fantasy owners are constantly trying to find tight ends yet they drop Everett? I understand he was on a bye but Sean McVay is consciously trying to get him involved. On the season, Everett has seen 14-percent of the Rams target share and he has a strong matchup against the Steelers. On the season, the Steelers have allowed the ninth most Fantasy points to tight ends and just allowed Jack Doyle to score in Week 9. Since Minkah Fitzpatrick joined this secondary, they’ve been especially tough on wide receivers. I can see Jared Goff leaning on him in this spot.
