teams. Of course, the implicit part of that agreement is that we would help you FIND said quarterbacks, kickers, tight ends and defenses! We have had quite a successful year with streaming suggestions and hope to keep that positive momentum.

Streaming has been pretty successful for us and we have seen a few players (Josh Allen, Jacoby Brissett, Jack Doyle, and Zane Gonzalez) go from streaming options to bonafide fantasy football starters which is the whole point of streaming in the first place!

The RotoExperts rankings and projections will guide you in making streaming and start/sit decisions, and the RX staff will be in the Daily Roto slack to answer questions for RotoExperts subscribers as well.

Streaming Notes: All players in this weekly column will be under 50% owned in Yahoo! Fantasy Football. A given player might be owned in your league but is not owned in all leagues. FAAB bids will be listed during the regular season but you know your league better than I do. FAAB dollars are also worth more the earlier they are spent in the calendar, so keep that in mind while streaming QB/K/TE/DST.

Week Fourteen Fantasy Football Streamers

Week Fourteen Quarterback Fantasy Football Streamers

Ryan Tannehill– Even though Tannehill has one of the least stable passing volumes in the NFL, he is fourth amongst all signal-callers in fantasy points per game since he took over the starting job for the Titans. His rushing output was diminished in the Titans last game as we would expect in a blowout victory. However, he gets yet another soft spot in the schedule as the Titans face off on the road against the Raiders. No team in the NFL is worse at putting pressure on the quarterback than the Raiders, which is one of our main criteria when we look for streaming quarterbacks.

At some point, the gravy train for Tannehill is going to stop and he will not be absurdly efficient but it is unlikely to stop this week. The Raiders have allowed over-average efficiency games to Sam Darnold, Ryan Finley, and Matt Stafford all over the last month of the season. Tannehill is a shade over 40% owned in Yahoo! leagues and is an easy pickup this week.

Jacoby Brissett– By now, you know how bad the Buccaneers are against the pass. They convince opposing teams to stop running the ball and have allowed more 300 yard passing games than not in 2019. Jared Goff, Russell Wilson, Drew Brees, Kyler Murray, Kyle Allen, and Daniel Jones all lit the Bucs up for 300 or more passing yards and even without TY Hilton and Chester Rogers, we expect Brissett to do the same. This is one of the highest total games of the week and will be very popular in DFS. Anytime a popular DFS play is out there on your waiver wire, it is a good signal that they can be started.

Week Fourteen Kicker Fantasy Football Streamers

Zane GonzalezEvery week, I am amazed that Gonzalez keeps getting thrown back to the waiver wire. He just had his first bad game of the season (and I believe, the first time I recommended a streamer who did not make a single field goal) and is now only SECOND in the NFL in total field goals attempted. He is also second in the NFL in field goals made but way down the row in extra points attempted. That should be not as much of an issue as a slight home underdog to the Pittsburgh Steelers. This is another ideal spot to target Zane.

Austin Seibert– The later it gets in the season, the worse that the weather gets for East Coast games and that really limits what we can do with the kicker position in fantasy football. We do not like to take outdoors, bad/cold weather kickers when indoor kickers should be available. Jake Elliot would be a strong option this week against the Giants but we expect more rain and bad weather for that Giants/Eagles game. Austin Seibert is home favorite against a putrid Bengals team and should slot into a perfect game script for kicking fantasy points but of course does contend with the elements and, well, being a Cleveland Brown.

Week Fourteen Tight End Fantasy Football Streamers

Gerald Everett/Tyler Higbee – This early in the week, the only reporting we have on Gerald Everett is that he is “day-to-day”. Where he to play as the starting tight end for the Rams, he would be an appealing option as a streamer in 12-team leagues due to how little Josh Reynolds/Brandin Cook have been involved in the Rams passing offense. Unlike last season for the Rams where the running back and third wide receiver were ahead of the TE in the pecking order, there is room for tight end growth for both Everett and Higbee, whoever starts. The starting Rams tight end in Week 14, whoever it is between these two, will be a strong option and be ranked inside my top-15.

Mike Gesicki – Perhaps the biggest mystery to me is why Mike Gesicki is on so many waiver wires. Since Preston Williams got injured, he is the eighth-highest scoring fantasy tight end and has had at least six targets in each game. He gets a matchup against the Jets who are so bad that they just lost outright to the Bengals as a favorite. What gives? It is perhaps just that so many people are not paying attention to their teams anymore and he is owned in most active leagues. Regardless, Gesicki is the top streaming option at tight end this week.

Week Fourteen Defense/Special Teams Fantasy Football Streamers

Structural DST Streaming Philosophy: The core tenants of finding a good streaming defense are finding a home defense that is going to face a lot of passing attempts. While your league settings might differ, in general, what we are chasing is sacks, turnovers and the main goal is finding DST touchdowns. DST touchdowns happen most often on passing plays as opposed to rushing plays.

Houston Texans – Drew Lock looked pretty competent against the Los Angeles Chargers in his first start last week but the fact remains that taking a home (favored) defense against a rookie quarterback making a road start is almost always going to be +EV. Add in the fact that the Texans are much better than Denver on offense and likely to get up by double-digits at some point and we have a recipe for sacks, fumbles and interceptions which is all we can ask for out of our defenses.

Indianapolis Colts –  We love Jameis for fantasy football here on RotoExperts but we are not afraid of streaming defenses against him. The Colts have solid defensive personnel but more importantly, Jameis is the league-leader in interceptions and has taken 40 sacks so far this season which is already a career-high. While Jameis can push the ball down the field in the Bruce Arians offense, he also is taking more sacks while remaining a constant interception risk. The Colts are a solid streamer this week.
