Jackson. Week 15 is the Fantasy Football semifinals for most, which means it’s that time of year where everybody second guesses their lineup. Owners are legitimately asking whether they should start Jackson. He’s currently averaging the most Fantasy points per game by a quarterback in NFL history! Unfortunately, we did lose a ton of players to injury in Week 14, so you might need help with your lineups. Below you’ll find a few players that can do just that. These are the players I’m higher on this week than the consensus.

QB

When it comes to Baker Mayfield, it’s time to leave everything else in the past. Yes, he’s the QB19 and has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns, but the matchup cannot get better than this… literally. Mayfield is going up against the Cardinals in Week 15, a defense that has allowed the most passing touchdowns (32) and most Fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. The Cardinals are prone to allowing huge games, too. They’ve allowed three or more touchdown passes six different times this season. Gear up for the battle of the Heismans! He may not have a Heisman but he did go to Harvard and that’s Ryan Fitzpatrick. We tried the Fitz experiment this past week and while it didn’t work out as hoped, he’ll have a prime opportunity to bounce-back against the New York Giants. Like the Cardinals, we’ve targeted the Giants secondary all season long. They’ve allowed three or more touchdown passes five different times and are allowing the seventh most Fantasy points to the position. Due to the Dolphins terrible defense and their inability to run the ball successfully, Fitzpatrick’s passing volume will always give him opportunities. I’d start both Baker and Fitzpatrick over Aaron Rodgers, Kirk Cousins, Matt Ryan and many others.

RB

You can argue whether or not David Montgomery is actually good but regardless, he’s a RB2 against the Packers in Week 15. Reason being, the volume has been there and it’s a premium matchup. Montgomery has played over 60-percent of the snaps in three straight games, with 16-plus carries in back-to-back games. As owners we always want more targets for our running backs but if Montgomery receives 16-20 opportunities in this game, he should be able to take advantage. On the season, the Packers are allowing 4.89 yards per carry to running backs and the fifth most Fantasy points to the position. From one running back who doesn’t catch passes to the best running back ever who doesn’t catch passes, Adrian Peterson is back in the flex discussion. Derrius Guice just can’t catch a break. Guice has been placed on injured reserve because of an MCL sprain. That once again opens up a huge opportunity for Peterson. If you remember, in the four games prior to Guice originally being activated off injured reserve, Peterson was averaging 18.8 carries and 95.8 rushing yards per game. Interim Head Coach Bill Callahan wants Washington to be a run-first team. Peteron’’s got a tougher matchup in Week 15 against the Eagles but he has thrived in tougher matchups already this season. Peterson will likely see 15-20 carries in that game, which makes him high-end flex option.

WR

Touchdown regression is real but wow, Mike Williams really took it to the next level. After scoring 10 touchdowns on just 66 targets last season, it took him 12 weeks to score his first touchdown this season. What’s crazy is that the yards have been there for him, the touchdowns just haven’t. His 70.1 receiving yards per game rank 21st in the NFL. Nonetheless, Williams has a great matchup against the Vikings in Week 15, making him a high-end WR3. The Vikings are allowing the seventh most Fantasy points to wide receivers, including the fourth most receptions and fifth most touchdowns to the position. Williams might just be able to score in back-to-back games. I referenced injuries earlier on and it doesn’t look like DJ Chark will be suiting up against the Raiders this week. It’s a shame because it’s an amazing matchup, but it opens up an opportunity for Chris Conley. Teammate Dede Westbrook is also dealing with a shoulder injury. Conley played the second most snaps among Jaguars wide receivers last week and will likely lead the team as the only healthy one left in Week 15. The Raiders are 31st in pass defense DVOA and just allowed AJ Brown to go for 5-153-2 last week. Leonard Fournette will see a heavy workload in this game but when the Jaguars have to pass, the targets will be concentrated on Conley and Westbrook. If you lost Mike Evans or DJ Chark because of injury, Williams and Conley are fine replacements.
