might win you a Fantasy Football Super Bowl should you be desperate enough to start them. Let’s face it, it was a weird Week 15 in Fantasy. Players long ago left for dead such as Tevin Coleman, Derrick Henry, and Alshon Jeffery may have won you your Fantasy week if you were still starting them. There is no denying that Fantasy Football can be extremely frustrating. I went 12-0-1 in my big money league. I was looking great, but then I lost A.J. Green, Odell Beckham Jr., Emmanuel Sanders, and James Conner. In the playoffs I was one and done, and it wasn’t all that close. The best team doesn’t always win in Fantasy Football, but the healthiest one sure has a good shot to do so.

There are always players who come out of nowhere to win Fantasy leagues. These next 10 players are literally ones that you probably never really thought about owning until the past week or two, maybe not even until today. I’m not saying to start these players as they are without a doubt, dartboard throws. But hey, maybe you’re in bad shape as I was in that league, but you survived to play in your championship game. If so, good luck. Here’s my list of the potential 10 Most Unlikely Fantasy Football Super Bowl heroes for 2018.

  1. Robert Foster, Buffalo Bills: Foster isn’t just a one-week wonder. He’s had over 100 yards receiving in back-to-back games and it’s not like he’s facing a great secondary in the Patriots in Week 16. Is he a sure thing? No, of course not. No one on this list is, but someone has to catch the ball for the Bills and right now that someone is Foster. The Bills are playing the Patriots on Sunday and Josh Allen might have to put the ball in the air more than the Bills may prefer. Foster could be the beneficiary of those throws.
  2. Jamaal Williams, Green Bay Packers: All season long, most of us have been wondering when the Packers would give the full-time job to Aaron Jones over Williams. Well, that sort of happened about a month ago and Jones was doing well, but then his season likely ended with a sprained MCL on Sunday. Williams is back to being the starting RB on a team with Aaron Rodgers. While the volume may not be there, neither will the defensive focus, as the Jets will worry about keeping Rodgers in check.
  3. Kalen Ballage, Miami Dolphins: Frank Gore is also likely out for the season with a foot injury. Once again, any starting RB with a pulse generally has value in Fantasy Football. Ballage may very well now be that starting RB for Miami. Sure, Kenyan Drake is there, but the Miami coaching staff seems to be very hesitant to have him be their leading ball carrier. They seem to prefer that he catch balls out of the backfield. This may not change Sunday, especially after Ballage rushed for 123 yards on just 12 carries versus the Vikings.
  4. Matt LaCosse, Denver Broncos: Tight End has been nothing short of a disaster this season. We have lost Hunter Henry, Jack Doyle, Greg Olsen, Jordan Reed, Tyler Eifert, Delanie Walker, and O.J. Howard. There just aren’t enough TEs to go around. LaCosse is far from a Godsend, but he’s a healthy body on a team that doesn’t have many other reliable receivers to count on right now.
  5. John Ross, Cincinnati Bengals:A.J. Green is out for the season. Tyler Eifert is out for the season. Tyler Boyd may be out for the season. It’s Ross or bust now for the Bengals in the passing game. Ross has the speed to blow by anyone, but consistency has been an issue. Over his last six games he’s averaging 5.4 targets per game. It shouldn’t surprise anyone if that total gets doubled Sunday versus the Browns.
  6. Chris Conley, Kansas City Chiefs: We can use the process of elimination here as well. Sammy Watkins is questionable at best to play Sunday night with a foot injury. Tyreek Hill is hobbled as well, but should play. Patrick Mahomes is running out of reliable targets to get the ball to, as it’s not like every pass can be throw to Travis Kelce. Conley only needs one big play to pay off in your Fantasy Football Super Bowl.
  7. Zach Zenner, Detroit Lions: If I’m the Lions’ coaching staff, I tell Kerryon Johnson to get that knee healthy and we’ll see you next year in mini-camp. The Lions season is done and there is just no reason for them to risk Johnson in a meaningless game. Zenner was the main ball carrier on Sunday for the Lions as he finished with 45 yards and more importantly, received the goal line carries over LeGarrette Blount. It seems that Blount has fallen out of favor with the coaching staff of the Lions and Zenner could once again start in Week 16 versus the Vikings.
  8. Ian Thomas, Carolina Panthers: Thomas really should’ve been claimed last week as he had a monster game in a loss to the Browns. The Panthers can deny it all they like but there is something wrong with the shoulder of Cam Newton. Sure, he can play through it, but it’s hurting the accuracy of his deep throws. He’s once again keeping his throws short, which should benefit Thomas, who has proved to be more than an adequate replacement for Greg Olsen. He had a quiet outing vs. the Saints but could bounce back quickly for at least decent PPR production in Fantasy Football Super Bowl week.
  9. Gerald Everett, Los Angeles Rams: I know, there are so many mouths to feed in that Rams’ offense that it’s hard to rely on Everett, plus you have to worry about Tyler Higbee. Yeah, Everett is about fifth on the receiving depth chart behind Robert Woods, Brandin Cooks, Josh Reynolds and Todd Gurley. But over the past couple of games, the Rams have been throwing the ball more than running it and there just may be enough targets to go around to make everyone happy.
  10. David Moore, Seattle Seahawks: It’s hard to trust the Seahawks offense. They want to play smash mouth football and run it, and then run it some more, but that may not be possible Sunday night versus the Chiefs. If K.C .is scoring points, then Russell Wilson and the passing game will have to try and match them, which should bode well for all of the receivers, and not just Moore.
