Pacers vs Cavs: NBA Wednesday
The Indiana Pacers take a seven-game win streak into Wednesday's marquee matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Indy defeated Cleveland back on Nov. 16, 2016 when the Cavaliers first visited The Fieldhouse; LeBron James sat out in that game.

What to Watch For
New Year, New Pacers: The Pacers are 14-4 since Jan. 1. The Pacers have been finding ways to win even when things don't always go as planned. The offense was horrendous Monday against Oklahoma City, but a strong defensive performance in the second half led to a 93-90 victory. Indiana forced OKC to commit 11 turnovers in the second half.
The biggest difference lately? Defense.
The overall season numbers are still a bit distracting with them giving up as many points as they score, but what's intriguing is their play in the new year. They have limited their last four opponents to less than 100 points scored. On average, they're giving up 106.
Block Party: Monday's win over OKC was the 13th game this season in which Myles Turner had at least four blocks. In five career games (2-3) matched up with Tristan Thompson, Turner averages 8 points, 2.2 blocks and 4.8 rebounds. More importantly, he averages a shade over 3 fouls per, compared to Thoompson at under 3. The key will be protecting the paint without fouling.
Road Warriors: The Cavs are currently undefeated on their road trip, winning three straight games including a memorable finish Monday night in Washington. Cleveland snapped the Wizards' 17-game home win streak. The Cavs have lost nine of their last 10 games played at The Fieldhouse. Keep in mind, though, James didn't suit up for the last two.
