2015 NFL Playoffs Championship Picks

The computer is not calling for any major surprises in the NFC or AFC Championship games. Led by Tom Brady, the Patriots beat Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts in 58.5% of simulations. Similarly, the Seattle Seahawks have a 59.5% edge over the Green Bay Packers. At this late stage, the home field advantage is huge. Seattle has the best home field advantage in the NFL and the Patriots in Foxboro are difficult to beat in January.

When February comes around and the SuperBowl is at hand, New England and Seattle do not offer any significant separation, but the computer is picking the Patriots to edge the Seahawks on a neutral field 52% to 48%. With this slim margin, a strong showing by either team in the Conference championship games could swing that edge in the opposite direction.

As it stands, the Patriots are projected to finish the season as Champions.
