we’re headed to Week 16 in Fantasy Football, otherwise known as championship week, and we’ve got question marks and issues all over the place. Maybe this week, you sit some of your studs.

Amazingly there are still some live bodies available on the waiver wire. Imagine being able to find a bell cow back on the wire in Week 16? I’d warn you to use caution when deciding on whether or not to pick up one of the following players, but if you’re reading this column you’re probably playing for a Fantasy championship and you know what you’re doing. Congrats!!

Elijah McGuire, RB, New York Jets

McGuire has 35 carries over the past two weeks. He also has three receptions and a rushing TD during that span. McGuire may only have a 3.3 YPC average on the season, but in traditional PPR scoring he has provided owners with double-digit Fantasy points in each of the past two weeks.

Jamaal Williams, RB, Green Bay Packers

Packers RB Aaron Jones may miss the rest of the season due to an MCL sprain. Williams has just 16 carries over his last two games but, he’s averaging 4.5 YPC in those outings. Look for Williams to be the Packers’ primary ball carrier against the Jets, who have given up just under 126 rushing yards per game.

Zach Zenner, RB, Detroit Lions

Zenner has 22 carries over the past two weeks and TDs in two straight games. He’s scored double-digit Fantasy points in PPR scoring leagues in those games. Although his recent success has been largely TD dependent, if Kerryon Johnson is forced to miss another game he should get double-digit carries this week.

John Kelly, RB, Los Angeles Rams

Rams RB Todd Gurley, a Fantasy juggernaut for much of the season, is going to have his cranky knee examined this week. That knee forced him to the sidelines for a short time in Week 15 but Gurley played through the injury and provided Fantasy owners with a big day. If you have a dead spot on your Fantasy roster and Kelly happens to be available, pick him up just in case Gurley’s injury ends up being more serious than expected.

Keith Ford, RB, Buffalo Bills

With LeSean McCoy and Chris Ivory both injured and inactive in Week 14, Marcus Murphy got the start at RB for the Bills. Unfortunately Murphy dislocated his elbow, leaving Ford as the last man standing in the Bills backfield. If McCoy and Ivory are sidelined again this week Ford has a sneaky good matchup against a Patriots team that was torched by Steelers RB Jaylen Samuel last week and is giving up five YPC on the season.

Kalen Ballage, RB, Miami Dolphins

With Frank Gore expected to miss the rest of the season and Dolphins coach Adam Gase refusing to give Kenyan Drake the ball, look for Ballage to get Gore’s usual 12-plus carries this week. Ballage rushed the ball 12 times for 123 yards and scored a TD last week which looks great, however 75 of those yards came on one run.

Robert Foster, WR, Buffalo Bills

Bills players will take you to the promised-land in Week 16? Admittedly, you’d rather not be in a position where you have to start Foster in a championship game, but he has at least 104 receiving yards in two straight games and has averaged just under 88 receiving yards in his last five.
