1. Calvin Johnson (DET): Johnson did not get a lot of balls thrown his way in the win over the Vikings. He finished with three receptions for 29 yards. Megatron is still the most dangerous wide receiver in football, so make sure he starts. Projected fantasy points: 13.7.

2. Wes Welker (NE): Welker played well again, catching seven passes for 86 yards and a touchdown. He caught his 100th pass on the season against the Redskins, and has put together another fantastic year. The Patriots hit the road to face Tebow and the Broncos. Denver’s defense is tough, but Welker is Tom Brady’s favorite target and will get plenty of action. Projected fantasy points: 13.3.

3. Mike Wallace (PIT): Wallace accumulated 78 yards of total offense against the Brown last Sunday. He leads the team in receptions and is a deep ball threat every week. The Steelers play the stingy Niners on Sunday, but Wallace has the talent to bust out a big reception at any point. Projected fantasy points: 11.3.

4. Miles Austin (DAL): Miles Austin is ready to go this week, and should get plenty of attention from Tony Romo. When healthy, Austin is a top receiver, catching four passes for 63 yards and a touchdown last week against the Giants. Against a poor Tampa Bay defense this Sunday, Austin is a solid starter. Projected fantasy points: 11.0.

5. Roddy White (ATL): Roddy White recorded his third straight game with a receiving touchdown in the win over Carolina. He also accumulated 84 yards on seven catches. The Falcons play a tough Jacksonville defense on Sunday. White is still in position to have a solid game as he is the best offensive weapon in the passing game. Projected fantasy points: 10.9.

Not top 5, but could be: This week’s wide receiver that missed the cut is Minnesota’s Percy Harvin. In the past four games, after running back Adrian Peterson went down with an injury, Harvin has caught five receiving touchdowns. I think the Vikings will continue to rely on Harvin for offensive production against the Saints this Sunday. Projected fantasy points: 10.6.
