Newcastle is up to 3rd in the league table behind the 2 Manchester clubs, and that is no accident. Newcastle has been playing splendidly behind Demba Ba, and Everton have been rather poor this season. One of Everton’s only bright spots has been Royston Drenthe, who returns from suspension, but he alone, is likely not good enough to secure a victory. The computer has Newcastle winning 59.4% of simulations and this pick is worth the value. Also, Everton’s value on losing is 4-3 with a return of 4.7 to 1 on the season and Newcastle’s value on winning is 5-2 with a return of 6.4 to 1 on the season.
2. Tottenham to win (2.35) against Fulham at Craven Cottage
The computer disagrees with this pick, but Spurs have a nearly fully rested squad after playing the 2nd teamin the Europa League on Thursday. Fulham also played Europa League and won with ease, but they had to play many of their regulars in the victory.
