Detriot +6.5 Philadelphia

Which team is better? The one that lost to the Redskins and the Packers or the one who beat the Vikings and the Raiders? Detroit is a better team and the line should be Detriot -1 not Philly +6.5. Take the four to one odds and the better team against a McNabb led squad. By the way is it just me or does McNabb think that since the turf is green that means it is an eligible Philly receiver. Check that guy’s WONDERLICK score.

Minnesota +2.5 Kansas City

Minnesota is favored in this game by -.5 on a neutral field, but Minnesota is a much better team. Who is Kansas City's number one receiver. No, I am not being facetious I am giving you a legitimate quiz. DOES ANY ONE EVEN KNOW? Sure it SHOULD be Dwane Bowe but how often does a rookie wide receiver make an impact? I mean it happens, no doubt, but with such regularity that it can happen on a Huard (who yeah is better than Trent Green so what) lead team, with an overworked Larry Johnson, a once great Tight End that no longer has the knees for the game, an offensive line that lost THREE starters last season, not to mention it lost WILLY ROAF two season's ago, a starting Wide Receiver Group that features, and for those of you who are playing along at home, the answer is SAMIE PARKER!?!, Eddie Kennison who is still hurt, Dwayne Bowe is still lacks polish, Jeff Webb who LED the team last week in receiving last week, and Eddie Drummond the kick returner. Every one says their defense is getting better but they gave up 20 to both Houston and Chicago who have bad offenses so ya right, HUGE improvement. Look at Baltimore.

So obviously I am taking the OTHER TEAM. It just so happens that Minnesota has a MUCH better offensive line, the same putrid passing game, A BETTER RUNNING BACK (yeah that's right you were thinking it and I said it, LJ is more, it was being said ALL preseason and now he has 96 yards rushing in two games, I will cut him some slack given that they were two good defenses but Adrian Peterson, though perhaps overrated, is the guy I would rather have right now, and a MUCH better defense.

Oakland (-3.5) over Cleveland

So after the home field advantage, you have Cleveland who looked good against Cincinnati but lets remember that Cincinnati was coming off of an emotional MONDAY NIGHT win already won the division according to Chad Johnson, so do you think that perhaps they did not work hard in practice and just had a bad game??? Me too. Let’s not all start thinking that Cleveland’s offense is big time all of the sudden because they had one good game, remember they scored zero against Pittsburg. The Raiders, ya, I know have two losses but Denver and Detroit are both playoff teams and they lost by slim margins still. Cleveland is not making it to the playoffs. Bet on the Raiders.
