It's all about results now in fantasy baseball.  Fantasy leagues and playoff match-ups are won based on daily management.  Here is a ranking for two-start pitchers that can help you win your league.  An extra win here or there and a few strikeouts could give you the edge you need.  Stay active.  Ground can still be made up this late in the year.

AL Two-Start Pitchers
1. Francisco Liriano (at CLE, at TB):  In the mix for top AL ’09 pitcher.
2. Scott Kazmir (BOS, MIN):  Has overcome supposed “All-Star” fatigue.
3. Daisuke Matsuzaka (at TB, at TOR):  Doesn’t use stuff to full effect (see BB, WHIP)
4. Shaun Marcum (BAL, BOS):  Back healthy and pitching like before the injury.
5. John Lackey (at OAK, at TEX):  Finally rejoining rotation for the stretch.
6. Brandon Morrow (at KC, at OAK):  Following Joba plan was clearly the right thing.
7. Kevin Slowey (at CLE, at TB):  Doesn’t walk anybody.
8. Gavin Floyd (at NYY, at KC):  Looks tired, but Sox need him desperately.
9. Mark Buehrle (at NYY, at KC):  Managing to stay useful and forgotten in fantasy.
10. Andy Pettitte (CHW, BAL):  Will start Yankee Stadium farewell.
11. Andy Sonnanstine (BOS, MIN):  Not nearly as good as the wins suggest – but still wins.
12. Alfredo Aceves (CHW, BAL):  First three appearances very effective.
13. Sean Gallagher (LA, SEA):  No-hitter in last outing – but lasted just 4 innings (6 BB!).
14. Brandon McCarthy (DET, LA):  Can he fulfill former prospect promise?
15. Scott Lewis (MIN, DET):  Tough match-ups.
16. Kyle Davies (SEA, CHW):  How is he still starting?
17. Chris Waters (at TOR, at NYY):  Not any good.
18. Carlos Silva (at KC, at OAK):  Be thankful your team didn’t sign him (sorry Seattle).
19. Brandon Duckworth (SEA, CHW):  No.  Just…no.
20. Dontrelle Willis (at TEX, at CLE):  How is it possible to fall this far this fast?

NL Two-Start Pitchers
1. CC Sabathia (at CHC, at CIN):  Will he get the Cy Young?
2. Ryan Dempster (MIL, STL):  Best third starter in the league.
3. Derek Lowe (at PIT, SF):  Has been better than you think.
4. Ted Lilly (HOU*, STL):  Starts Monday against Houston in Milwaukee.  Got it?
5. Mike Pelfrey (at WAS, at ATL):  Great match-ups.
6. Dan Haren (SF, at COL):  In a slump like all D-Backs.
7. Ubaldo Jimenez (SD, ARI):  Great name to watch for ’09.
8. Hiroki Kuroda (at PIT, SF):  Like Dice-K, has not pitched up to his stuff.
9. Bronson Arroyo (STL, MIL): Second-half numbers have been solid.
10. Pedro Martinez (at WAS, at ATL):  Hard to trust him at this point in career.
11. Chris Volstad (HOU, PHI):  Pitching at home helps.
12. Matt Cain (at ARI, at LA):  Fully in a late season slowdown.
13. Jamie Moyer (at ATL, at FLA):  A joy to watch since he has as much velocity as you do.
14. Braden Looper (at CIN, at CHC):  Has been ok, but match-ups are poor.
15. James Parr (PHI, NYM):  Nice debut, but hard to trust a rookie.
16. Brad Hennessey (at ARI, at LAD):  Will get second and third starts of the year.
17. Doug Davis (SF, at COL):  D-Backs scuffling, one start at Coors.
18. Wade LeBlanc (at COL, at WAS):  Former prospect, not so much anymore
19. John Lannan (NYM, SD):  Preseason “ace” hasn’t put up a very good season.
20. Odalis Perez (NYM, SD):  Winner of most “he’s still in the league?” comments
21. Zach Duke (LA, HOU):  Plays for the Pirates.
22. Ross Ohlendorf (LA, HOU):  Him too.
23. Greg Reynolds (SD, ARI):  2^nd overall pick in 2006 not living up to billing.
