Attention Goldmembers: we have hit 9 out of our last 12 and there's no need to get the train off the track now. In tonight's game, Willie Parker and the Steelers offensive line will run all over the St. Louis defense. The Rams are not a physical team, they gave up nearly 200 yards on the ground to Cincinnati two weeks ago. Look for Big Ben to take advantage of the ground attack's success with some well-timed play action passes for big gainers as well. Steven Jackson will not repeat his 143 yard performance from last week against the leagues 3rd best run and best overall defense. The Steelers will possibly be without Clark Haggans and Marvel Smith, but still have enough talent up front, along with the now healthy Troy Polamalu, to shut down Jackson. With Jackson unable to get off, Bulger will also struggle to put up big numbers through the air, and St. Louis will have a tough time getting on the scoreboard. I know that Pittsburgh struggles on the road(2-4), but they will find a way to get it done this week in a game they must win to hold off the surging Cleveland Browns in the AFC North. Take Pittsburgh at -9.

| Hey, I also like the steelers but after last weeks deflating (mentally and physically) loss to the Jags, I dont think the steelers will be able to recover with such a short week. The steelers will probably win but I dont think they can cover the spread. If the Rams can keep it close for the first half, look for them to cover, but if they get down 1-2 TD's early, they are likely to just give up... |
