Thursday night footballPosted by DAMAN in Untagged |
Have I mentioned that I don't like Thursday night games? Anyways, here is the way this game will shake out. Washington is in no shape to play this game three days after burying Sean Taylor. Speaking of Sean Taylor, he will be sorely missed off the field, but also on. The Bears, with Sexy Rexy back under center, are starting to get into more of an offensive groove, after all if Devin Hester catches that ball last week, they beat the Giants and are in the middle of the playoff hunt. Washington can stop the run fairly effectively, but Rex will hurt them through the air. Chicago's defense has started to pick up the pace a little, too. Clinton Portis will have a good game, but Jason Campbell will tast some dirt, and the Redskins will have trouble putting points on the board. I sincerely hope that they don't kick it to Hester, but if they do, he will run one back also, although the Bears won't need it, take Chicago with or without the points. Chicago 23-Washington 14. Check back Saturday for the PICK 5.

| i like WAS -3 tnite. WAS should rebound from last weeks debacle by coach Gibbs and prove they still deserve a playoff shot. i think homefield is huge here, and see the WAS run game dominating this game. the Skins have the second ranked overall punt coverage, so i see them shutting down hester. Expect Grossman to be under pressure all game bc the Skins will give him different looks all day. Unless the Bears D stands on its head im thinkin 23-16 WAS. cheers buddy, hope this weekends better for us than the previous one |
