Pack -1 This normally the opposite of the kind of play I like to make. I like teams playing in desperate situations, and Minny is that this week. However, their personel just doesn't match up with the Green Bay. Minny can't throw, but is a strong running team. Green Bay can be thrown on, but is a rock against the run. Like the Pack D, Minnesota's D is good at shutting down the ru nand making teams one dimensional. However, the Pack have been one dimensional all year and it doesn't seem to bother them. Favre will have another good day I don't see Kelly Holcomb and company moving the ball much at all.

Jets -3 -125 The Jets are just better. Be careful with those 3 point road favs. Sometimes they look easier than they are. However, this is not one of those times. After starting 0-2, the Jets really need this game and I think they have a good coaching staff and a steady QB - the kind of things that help you avoid losing to bad teams on the road. The only edge for Buffalo other than home field might be the running of Lynch, but it won't matter. A banged up Buffalo team should be an easy task for the Jets.

Fins -4 Oakland is something like 0 for their last 16 when playing an early game on the East coast. On top of that, Miami desperately needs to get in the win column. They have been competitive in every game so far and Oakland will be the worst team they have played to date. Expect everyone to be focus and they will make plays early and often. I might be back with baseball I might have a play or two on the late NFL games. If so, those will come right before kick off.
