Freedom Odds UpdatePosted by Inventor66 in Untagged |
Hi folks, I'm writing to update you about my AccuScore-like website and sports prediction software. I continue to get lots of hits per month despite the site being inactive since last Football season, mostly from people reading the articles and downloading my free sports prediction software. In fact, I just recently made my "Predict" web-based sports prediction software freely downloadable, so stop by and have a look at it if you have the computer skills to install and operate it (it's complicated). Easier to use, but still a little work to maintain is myearlier "Predict Games" software that remains freeware of course. I get about four or five downloads a week these days, so I know at least some people are enjoying the software. Also I continue to get hits from around the globe - America, Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa... people from all over are checking it out.
The biggest news is that my proprietary "Jacqueline" software program that stormed onto the scene with a 70% success rate in NFL prediction is tuned up and ready to make picks for the 2008 NFL season, plus I have just added support for NCAA Football as well! My early, admittedly somewhat positive-biased paper testing indicates that Jacqueline *should* be just as good if not better at predicting NCAA Football compared to NFL football. Of course, any betting system can fail and you often see good seasons and bad seasons so I make no promises, but so far Jacqueline's performance has been phenomenal. Jacqueline requires the Vegas point spread on any game to make a prediction, so I have not done any early predictions for the upcoming season yet as the data is simply unavailable. But as soon as I can get the odds I'll make the predictions.
Of course I like what AccuScore is doing and I recommend making use of all their tools first and foremost. Then if you would like some additional sports prediction information, especially computer predictions, I recommend my site as a bonus for you to enjoy. You can download "Predict Games", download "Predict", run "Predict" online, get Jacqueline's picks, and a whole lot more. I have articles that describe the algorithms that I use so you can write your own successful sports prediction software if you like or just read about it for interest's sake. There's other goodies on the site too plus links to my music and personal interest sites if you get bored of sports prediction (oh my!).
So remember, Jacqueline successfully predicted NFL at a rate of 70% or better since her creation at the end of the 2007 NFL season, and she's all tuned up and ready to do college and pro Football predictions for you. Oh, and my site is called "Freedom Odds" because it's all free, no membersips not charges, no subscriptions, none of that (well there's a cheezy store that nobody ever bought anything from and some Google ads sprinkled about, but you don't need to bother with those things). It's all free and (mostly) successful at sports prediction, so stop on by and check it out sometime: www.freedomodds.com, thanks.

| Are you sure about horse track betting being unpredictable ? I know a few horse betters and mentioned computer generated predictions to them and they all said yes that would be a good idea. Alot of horse betters base there bets on the horse's owner and of coarse the jockey who's riding them on a given race. I know one person who specifically bets on horses who get trained by a certain horse trainer's. If that's true then some kind of prediction must be possible based on winning percentage of certain horse owner's. Which would make them something like a sports franchise. Certain sports teams just are winning franchise's (ie New York Yankees , Montreal Canadians etc.). I'm sure you have done your homework on this and I do admit some sports are just too tuff to bet on. Golf is one of them . Probably horse's is another. Thanks for the time ,just trying to fill the void till the NFL season starts. |

| It is very difficult to predict horse races! I wanted to modify my software or write some custom software to predict horse races, so I consulted a friend of mine. This guy is very good at predicting horse races and does it in his head. His wife says he wins at the track all the time, and he once owned a horse or two. He told me that looking at the prior performance of horse races is not a sufficient guide for predicting the outcome of future races. He mentioned things like whether the track is wet or rough, what gate the horse starts at, whether the horse sweats a lot, and other things that you cannot easily put into a prediction algorithm. So I chose not to pursue horse race prediction at all based on his advice. I know that is not what you would want to read about it, but that appears to be the situation. Regarding Jacqueline, my recommendation is to see how she does in the first few weeks of the season first, then if she does well, go ahead and make use of her predictions in your personal system. I say that because she is so new that there's no telling how well she will do in a whole new season. Also, her input data gets more accurate as the season progresses. Please feel free to send me an email about your success or the lack thereof, I always love to hear from people who are reading my web page and making use of my software. The email addy is at the bottom of every page on my site (www.freedomodds.com). Cheers and good luck! |

| Hi; really glad to see everyone getting ready for the 2008 football season. I am and going too hit it hard this season. I'll try your Jacqueline system with Accuscore (of course)and see if I can do a little better this year specially at point spread bets. I was wondering about the horse track business? Don't know much about horse's (barely know which end of the horse wins) but I do see alot of off track gambling places around. Alot of people bet on horses do they not ? For some reason Accuscore is not interested in the horse track , so I was wondering if you know any program's out there for horse track betting ? thanks |
