Can you believe how crazy this season is? Denver loses to Kansas City. Favre and Coles both questionable early only to go on to light up the Cards for 56. Braylon Edwards finally gets a touchdown in week four. And Washington, looking as bad as they did week one, goes into Dallas and wins. Damn!

As hard as it is to predict any of this mayhem, there are still plenty of safe bets when it comes to grabbing guys off of the waiver wire. Look at what I have for you today.

May be available now...

Kyle Orton (QB) - If you don't get penalized for interceptions and don't mind the low yardage totals he is showing that he can throw some touchdowns. That said (I can't believe I am saying this), but since the man played solid versus the Eagles and was alright against the Buc's, he may be a viable option against the Lions next weekend if you are in a pinch.

Jason Campbell QB (WAS) - He goes into Texas Stadium and takes down the Cowboys with a solid 231 yards and 2 touchdown performance. It is unlikely that he is available anymore but if he is, maybe you could use him. He has Phili next week, then excellent match-ups against St. Louis, Cleveland and Detroit.

Steve Slaton RB (HOU) - It may be too late but if you don't have him - and he is available for some reason - grab him NOW! This week he doesn't get 100 on the ground but he was a big part of the passing game with 8 catches for 83 yards and a touchdown.

Ronnie Brown RB (MIA) - Don't forget about him. Check if he is available. He gets San Diego at home this week. They will give him a few opportunities.

Lance Moore WR (NO)- For two weeks in a row he has been Brees' main target. I think it is time to get him in your line-up. 7 catches for 78 yards last week and 7 for 101 and 2 touchdowns this week.

Stop by and check out my long list of not-so-obvious fantasy football sleepers and waiver wire picks.
