Toward the end of the San Diego-Indianapolis game, I was waiting for the announcers to make some comparisons to the Dallas-Buffalo game earlier in the season. They didn't, so I will.

Romo 5 ints vs. Bills, Manning 6 ints vs. Chargers; Dallas 6 turnovers (all from Romo), Indianapolis 6 turnovers (all from Manning); Dallas 385 yards, Indianapolis 386; Romo 309 yards passing, Manning 328; Romo 2 passing TDs, Manning 2 passing TDs; Buffalo 21 pts directly off returns (14 ints, 7 kick), San Diego 14 (7 kick, 7 punt); Dallas and Indianapolis both missed a potential game-tying 2-pt. conversion

This week is a little tricky due to the fact that there are a whopping six teams on bye. But, I do think there are some definite starts, sits and sleepers.

Before I start, here’s a little reminder of how I have things set up. I still list two players who I think deserve a start and two players that I think should ride the pine. Also, I’ve added another section that will deal with some of the gray area associated with some players.

This section is called Sleepers: Don’t be surprised if. It will deal with players who, regardless of stature, will perform better

As a Cowboys fan, I took Buffalo for granted.......I thought this would be an easy game (I even wagered 1000 points in the challenge on them--ouch). I didn't count on 5 interceptions (2 returned for TDs) and a fumble.......all by Tony Romo, the second-highest rated passer going into this week's games. I almost started crying when Owens had the 2-point conversion ripped away from him, and again when his called catch was overturned.

Romo led the Cowboys down the field on a couple quick passes, and Nick Folk came on to attempt his longest FG of his (now) 5-game career at 53 yards

The Colts 5-0: Who the Hell Cares?

All the talk of the league is the Patriots and Cowboys yet flying quietly under the radar are the Indianapolis Colts. What? The Colts? Yeah, those Colts. And trust me, they are loving it.

For what seems like the past decade, Peyton Manning and the Colts have been the highflying media darlings and carried that pressure until they finally shook the ‘big game’ monkey off their backs last season with a convincing Super Bowl win over the Chicago Bears. You can’t imagine what it’s like playing under that level of scrutiny and media attention for years and how good it feels to

Rams at Dallas: Cowboys Biggest Test of Season

Yeah, you heard me. The Dallas Cowboys are facing their biggest test as a team this weekend when they host the Saint Louis Rams. Yes, those Rams. The ones without Steven Jackson. The ones with Marc Bulger and his two broken ribs. The team that is 0-3.  Those Rams.

This may seem like the dumbest thing I've ever written and if you have been a regular reader, you know I have written some dumb things before.  How could the Rams even pose a threat to Dallas?

Well, what is concerning is Dallas just came off a huge win, and not a close one either
