I hope you had a solid opening day. Lots of surprises, disappointments and head-scratchers. Either way, footballs back baby and it is time to start looking at next week!

Other than Brady going down, and Atlanta's domination of the Lions, the biggest surprise this week was the amount of tight ends on the list below.

Check it out.

May be available now...

Matt Cassel QB (NE) - I am sure that if you have Brady you are on top of this. If not, get on it. If you don't have Brady, look anyway and see if you can steal him.

If you are anything like me, you are starving for any football discussion that doesn't include Brett Favre (please make it stop!). So, I figured I would give you an update on a little mock draft that some very football savvy bloggers and I have been participating in over the last week or so.

So far, not many surprises but round two is a pick away and there are usually a few head turners to be had. Check it out.

Oh, and before I forget, make sure you

I think that you and I can agree that one of the greatest things about the Super Bowl - other then football and Tom Petty at half - is the beer and commercials. So rather than just give you my Super Bowl prediction this week I figured I would dish out a few beer commercials for your enjoyment as well.

The Lock
I have been having a pretty decent post season, if I do say so myself. I am 7-3 coming into this week and I am looking at winning my eighth so let lets get to it.

I think that the Giants should feel really good about their chances. They played

There were some pretty surprising performances last week. Antwaan Randle El, Vincent Jackson and D.J. Hackett far exceeded expectations while usual studs like Plaxico Burress and Clinton Portis laid a freakin egg.

As for my sleepers selections last week, Shaun Alexander, Nate Keading and Jeremy Stevens didn’t work out as well as I thought. But, Shaun and Nate each have a legitimate shot at posting some solid numbers this week.

Hopefully you took my advice on Eli Manning, Chris Chambers and the Seattle defense. They all posted

Can you feel the tension build every time you’re deciding on who to put into your starting line-up? Me too my friend. That could only mean one thing; it is crunch time.

It’s that time of the year where the championship money is within your grasp and the yearlong bragging rights are on the line. Your fantasy football league playoffs are only a handful of weeks away and you need that extra little something that will put you over the top. Here are few suggestions for you.

Going to sound like a jerk for a second here.

Watching the New England-Dallas game on tv last weekend, I re-learned why I hate the Patriots. They don't have any class. When you're up by 14 with 20 seconds left, there's no need to go for the touchdown. There's no need to still have Brady & Co. out on the field. Get your backups out there, and kick the meaningless field goal or take a knee.

Now for the part where I sound like a jerk. Part of me is hoping that while the Patriots are showing their lack of class with Brady out on the field during a meaningless drive, Brady gets sacked--hard--and doesn't get

The Colts 5-0: Who the Hell Cares?

All the talk of the league is the Patriots and Cowboys yet flying quietly under the radar are the Indianapolis Colts. What? The Colts? Yeah, those Colts. And trust me, they are loving it.

For what seems like the past decade, Peyton Manning and the Colts have been the highflying media darlings and carried that pressure until they finally shook the ‘big game’ monkey off their backs last season with a convincing Super Bowl win over the Chicago Bears. You can’t imagine what it’s like playing under that level of scrutiny and media attention for years and how good it feels to
