What to Expect: PIT has all but ruled out WR Santonio Holmes and Defensive leader Troy Palamalu. PIT is coming off a disgusting loss to a terrible NYJ team, where they played poorly on both sides of the ball. This weekend Brett Favre broke another record and I have heard nary a word about it. Where's the pomp? Where's the circumstance? Why wasn't the game stopped for the ensuing celebration? Why wasn't Dan Marino doing the happy dance on CBS? It's un-American that we not celebrate every one of Favre's great achievements damn it! Momma, apple pie, turducken,

The Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers are undefeated, 2-0, to lead the NFC North.  The Bengals score 45 points but lose to the Cleveland Browns.  Oh but wait. There's more! The Houston Texans are 2-0 and are tied atop the AFC South with the Super Bowl champ Colts. That is amazing enough but they are only a few points behind them in scoring for the season.  That is jaw dropping.

 

Remember that team that grinds out the clock with run after run? Well, the Pittsburgh Steelers are only a single field goal behind Peyton and the Colts.  And no one is even close
