With the yankees having seven games this week and Joba Chamberlain starting tommorrow, the 25th, shouldn't he have two starts?

Who should the Yankees place in the rotation to cover to Wang gets back?

I think they should call up Ponson or if he is not yet aviable plug Dan Giese in the rotation.

That Thong-tha-thong, thong, thong

I was doing my usual routine of waking up in the morning, which consists of setting my fantasy lineups, cooking some fools on Facebook's Mob Wars, and reading articles on MSN.  This morning I came across this article:

Yankee's Star Slump Remedy:  Wear a thong

At first I looked at the title, and it was so shocking that I just dismissed it.  Five seconds later it hit me.  What?  Yankee player actually admits to wearing a thong?!  My first thought was "It must

Steinbrenner wants Joba to start

I read this story tonight about how Hank Steinbrenner wants Joba Chamberlain to move to the starting rotation.  I never have thought much of Hank, especially with some of the moves he pulled over the off-season.  First he decides to publically walk away from Alex Rodriguez, the best player in the game.  Now that situation resolved its self, but the whole situation was idiotic.  The Yankees have plenty of money to spend, and baseball allows them to spend as much as possible.  You do what you need to do

Jeter In, Posada Out

Derek Jeter is listed as the starting shortstop for the Yankees tonight against the Rays.  Chad Moeller, who was called up from Triple-A Scranton this morning, is listed as the starting catcher.  Jose Molina left last night's game with a strained hamstring, and Jorge Posada has been plagued by a dead throwing arm.

But where are the clowns?
Quick, send in the clowns.
Don't bother, they're here.

Every year the Ringling Brother Circus come to the United Center, and the clowns head west for their annual beating.  The 2-8 Bulls haven't disappointed us with this year's effort with their only win coming against the hapless Clippers. At least they'll be in New York on Saturday so they should walk away with a win. The real question is which game would you rather watch the Pre-Season N.I.T. championship game on Friday or the thrilling Bulls v/s Knicks game on Saturday.

Torre is over-rated

I've got nothing against Joe Torre.  He's a great guy from everything that I have read about him.  I'm not a Yankees hater.  As a Pirate fan I can't really complain about teams over-spending my team, because that's the entire league I'd be complaining about.  The problem I have isn't with Torre.  It's with managers in general.

As you probably know by now, Joe Torre was offered a one year deal worth $5 million, with a $1 million incentive for every round of the playoffs he reached.  If you haven't heard, then you've

Today went badly

This week was going well.......I was in the top 5 on the challenge for the week.......then today happened. 2-5 today.......went from about 1500 up to 500 down in one day. My NFL picks were good.......if they were flat wins......but three teams failed to bead the spread. Baltimore only won by 2, and Arizona and Houston only one by 3 each.......the GB one was bad though, as they failed to stop a woeful Bears team and lost by 7--the only NFL team I picked that lost straight up. Indians choked, but I don't much care about that.
