Pack -1 This normally the opposite of the kind of play I like to make. I like teams playing in desperate situations, and Minny is that this week. However, their personel just doesn't match up with the Green Bay. Minny can't throw, but is a strong running team. Green Bay can be thrown on, but is a rock against the run. Like the Pack D, Minnesota's D is good at shutting down the ru nand making teams one dimensional. However, the Pack have been one dimensional all year and it doesn't seem to bother them. Favre will have another good day I don't see&

They are just kidsPosted by oh_steve in Untagged |
Colorado's shocking upset over Oklahoma taught me a valuable lesson about college football --- these are a bunch of kids playing.
Oklahoma was terrible in all phases of the game. Freshman Sam Bradford had his first bad game, the Sooners couldn't run the ball, the secondary made a ton of mental errors, the pass rush was ineffective, the return coverage stunk (especially on that final punt return by Colorado) and the return game was terible (muffed punt cost them the game).
The fact is, if even one of these units (passing offense, rushing offense, defensive

Tough night on Thurs, so I took a rest today. I was really surprised to see Gallardo go in the tank like he did for mil the other night. Oh well. Those loses dropped me below my 15 unit goal for the season so I have some work to do in the playoffs. Not sure how I am going to attack the playoffs just yet, but most likely, my plays will be few. I might be satisfied to just get back to even for my record on this blog and then just pretend like '07 baseball never happened here. There will be better opportunites elsewhere. I will probably have some series plays and futures

Yeah, you heard me. The Dallas Cowboys are facing their biggest test as a team this weekend when they host the Saint Louis Rams. Yes, those Rams. The ones without Steven Jackson. The ones with Marc Bulger and his two broken ribs. The team that is 0-3. Those Rams.
This may seem like the dumbest thing I've ever written and if you have been a regular reader, you know I have written some dumb things before. How could the Rams even pose a threat to Dallas?
Well, what is concerning is Dallas just came off a huge win, and not a close one either

My Week 5 College Football PicksPosted by oh_steve in Untagged |
So garbage time cost me my LSU over SC pick, but I still went 2-1 raising my college football record to 8-2. Until I have a bad week I'm going to continue focusing on college football and here's what I'm looking at this week:
AUBURN @ FLORIDA (Florida -18.5)
The worst thing to happen to Auburn is Florida putting up a lackluster performance at Ole Miss. Add that to Florida's tough loss at Auburn last year and you have a very motivated Gators team. Tennessee is better than Auburn and you know how Florida destroyed them at home. I like Florida

NCAA System Week 5Posted by twilliams in Tim Williams, Scorpion, NCAA System, NCAA Football, NCAA |
The NCAA system is still in development, but so far things have gone well. The first week I used the system was in week 3. I had two trends that I thought would do well, and the total combined record for that week was 16-10. Last week, after some analyzation of the system, I found a few more trends, coming up with 35 plays. Now I know this is a lot of plays for one week, but I don't really expect anyone is betting on this, so I posted them all for tracking purposes. Last week went 20-15 between 5 different trends that I was tracking. The different trends
