Recapping Yesterday's Daily Picks

Despite going 2-3 for a small loss, I feel yesterday’s picks were a disappointment.  I got home shortly before 1:00, meaning I could have posted picks for 1:00 games that no one could have played, or I could have picked games for later in the day, which is what I did.  The problem there was that the 1:00 games were some of my favorites for the day, while some of the games below were further down the list.

Another 3-2 day brings the weekly total to 16-14, for a total of +3.73 units.  Colorado was an easy win yesterday, winning 6-2.  The two college basketball over picks covered easily.  Georgetown got off to a good start, winning the first half, but fell apart in the second half.  The only pick that wasn’t really close was Edmonton, who lost 4-1.

The deal with Shaq going to the Suns is a very risky move. The Heat know what they are getting with Shawn Marion and with Dwane Wade. The Heat have a very good duo. But with The Suns and Shaq all you know that your getting is an over the hill guy with a lot of injuries and also messes up the Suns running style offense. To me it is a risky move by the Suns.

Recapping Yesterday's Daily Picks

Yesterday’s picks went 3-2, with two nice upset victories. Boston beat Buffalo in the shootout, and the Lakers beat the Magic, even surviving a 19-26 4^th quarter. Toronto was up by eight at the half, but the Clippers out scored them by 12 in the second half to kill any chances of a big Toronto win. Princeton was a solid over pick, covering the spread by more than 10 points. However, Harvard lost by more than 10 points, so the over/under

Yesterday the picks went 2-3, bringing the four day total to 10-10, with a profit of +0.92 units.  The only pick I really regret was the Murray State pick.  I took that pick solely because of the solid Vegas difference trend, ignoring my usual factors for making a pick.  Usually I take in to consideration the team records, the line trend, and then look for other factors.  I ignored that these two teams had poor success with the over/under predictions and
