Admin: A simple solution to Baseball DLR complaint 2008/09/25 23:01
The main complaint I've seen on the Baseball forums is with regards to the closing line used for the next days DLR Archive.

How about if the program that monitors the Pinnacle feed (that get the odds from Pinnacle every 10-15 minutes) instead of trying to get the closing line is set to get the odds 25 minutes before each game.

I'm sure the programmers at Accusore would find this easy to do.

eg. for each game every time the odds are obtained from Pinnacle (every 10-15 minutes):

1.Get the odds from Pinnacle at "current time"
2. If the game is flagged goto 4.
2. If the game starts more than 25 minute from 'current time' update the odds, goto 4.
3. If the game starts less than 25 minutes from 'current time' update the odds and flag the game (and highlighting the odds in LBP page).
4. End procedure

So to use Twilliams analogy: currently the DLR is an example of one person betting between 0 and 14 minutes before game time.

With the new method the DLR would be an example of one person betting between 10 and 25 minutes before game time. BUT with the added advantage that Accuscore will be transparent in that they will be letting us members know the odds used for the DLR the next day. AND it will stop all the accusations that Accuscore are manipulating the results. It would be a WIN WIN situation all round.

Could members please sign in below with what they think of the new method (agree/disagree).

And Admin could the above method be implemented?
