Question for Tim Williams 2008/05/22 16:19
In the first thread I posted yesterday you made the following statement:

"In the "Trend Data" area (just below the basic simulations) I see "win Percent", "Big Win" and "Close Win". These all are rounded to the nearest tenth percent."

Tim, 24 hours ago I was able to locate the "Trend Data" area you mention. Now, however, the landscape has changed and I'm unable to find "win Percent", "Big Win" and "Close Win", each correct to the nearest tenth and each easily refreshable.

Tim, please tell me where I've gone astray and how I can access the info you mention.

Here's a brief explanation as to why that particular info is important to me.

In the past, as soon as your simulation results were available, I've been able to copy/paste the "win Percent", "Big Win" and "Close Win" info for each game onto a spreadsheet I've constructed. Then, an hour or so before the start of each game I simply refresh that info. I then use that most recent simulation data as a key component in my handicapping.

Tim, the new landscape just doesn't allow me to refresh easily. Nor is the "win Percent" correct to the nearest tenth.

I look forward to hearing from you. Keep up the good work. Your articles are always timely, interesting and informative.

I'm going to:

Winners Edge > Live Betting Predictions > MLB

From there I select a game (EX: Milwaukee @ Pittsburgh) and click on the "Game Preview" link.

This page brings up three tabs: Game Preview, Forecasted Stats, and Handicap. I click on the Handicap tab and find these numbers you are looking for in the "Trend Data" box.

To access the page you are referring to, you go to:

MLB > Game Previews > Mil vs Pit

This brings up a page that has all of this data on one screen. The close win and big win percentages are shown below the image of the game forecast.

Understood ... the "Trend" page that, as of yesterday, was free is now available only to Winner's Edge paying customers. That about right?

From what I can see, the trend data is only available to Winner's Edge subscribers.
