I have noticed accuscore's predictions on the daily line report page do not add up to what they predicted on. For example march 23rd predictions for nba included 3 overs and a coin flip. All games went under. None of the games pushed. yet somehow accuscore nba report added 1 win to the report and 1 loss to the report. However the 0-4 ats sunday night added 4 losses to the accuscore prediction record.

Accuscores NBA report predicted
LA Lakers sim line was 232, vegas line 231
The prediction was LAL OVER!!!, the final score in that game was 115 to 111= 226 points, UNDER!!!

So tell me why did the nba report give la lakers a WIN(Right) on the over/under prediction at home? Why did the overall prediction record recieve a win for this game and why did it say washington OVER prediction pushed when it was a good 15 points under?

That game would be considered right if it used the closing vegas line of 233.5 and was an UNDER bet. So my question is when is the vegas line counted to determine if the game is right or wrong based on the pick. Because it certainly isn't counting it when it releases the report.

Can anyone provide an answer? after researching some of the past pics based on the pdf reports. It is not not going by closing lines. To say you are right on a pick b/c the line switched in favor does make sense. Except when the line switches and changes accuscores pick making it wrong. Even by changing the pics to the closing lines the accuscore predictions of right or wrong are not accurate. Unless the predictions are made clear by what vegas line it is using and WHEN that line is being used against the simulation prediction Accuscore can basically say they picked a game RIGHT whether they did or not. This also would explain why the system is so much better on just .5 differences instead of 4 point differences.

Unless someone can tell me what vegas line they are using for these "RIGHT OR WRONG" picks then these stats saying accuscore is 55% correct or whatever are completely flawed. Scam Alert!

Hoping I havn't wasted my time on this site. Picking close to 55 percent winners would be enough to get me to pay accuscore 500$ a year to be a annual member. But if you can't back up these statistics than this is a scam to say that your picks are correct.

Thank you for taking the time to bring up this question. AccuScore results are based on the closing Vegas line. The reason for this is consistency. As you know, the lines change throughout the day, with some lines being more active than others. In order to maintain consistent accuracy, the daily line report is based on the line when the game closes.

Now you may ask, why don't you base it on the line posted in the report?

First, the daily line report (DLR) is not posted at an exact time, but rather a certain time frame. Second, the report can be updated throughout the day, giving a different line from when it was first posted. The only way to get a line at a consistent time is to base it on the closing line.

As for your questions about the accuracy of AccuScore, everything is based on the closing line. When you look at the archive of picks, all of the results are based on the closing line. Had the opposite occurred for this game, it would have been counted as a loss.

This information can be useful when determining which game you want to take. I find that it is safer to wait until the line is about to close, allowing you to get the most accurate predictions. I hope this information helps.
