as another great year winds down i have to ask you this question....did you guys make any type of "adjustments " from last year or do things any differently? even though the net units will be very close for the SV how you got there this year was night and day compared to last year. im not looking for trade secrets but because of the way the year played out i have to think you guys did something very different from last year. i hope you can respond and keep up the awesome work! pieman

Thanks for the feedback and we were happy with baseball this year as well. As always, we make adjustments to the sims, and for baseball, we looked more at the weighting systems this past year. As an FYI, we always backtest changes over the past years and if they show a better record than previous actuals, then we know we are on to something. If not, we will not make the changes.

the results this year were much more consistent as last year had wild swings up and down. also, last year all the profits were generated by the dogs while this year the favs got the majority of the units, that is a huge swing. i would ask that when you guys make changes that will affect results like this to give us a heads up,as i almost went w/ an all dogs model this year based on those outstanding results last year and i would have gotten crushed. thanks again!!
