i asked this earlier in the year, if you guys made any adjustments to the sims from last year, and you responded that everything is the same.if thats true do you have any reasons why in games involvong big favorites you almost always land on the side of the chalk...and when you do side w/ the dog the results have been poor. last year i made an absolute killing riding the big dogs and this year not only are they not winning but we are getting very few plays. like this week, the early sims have something 15 or 16 big favs and you side w/ the chalk in all but 2...last year i think we averaged about 4 or 5 plays a week and this year its about 1 1/2 a week..sure feels like something is different..any thoughts?

It is a good question and one we have been researching. The sims have not changed at all from last year.

The two things we have been finding more and more though, are sports books and their odds makers as paying members. We have been requesting them to leave and cancelling their subscription since the information here is not for commercial use, but I'm sure you can understand how easy it is to get around that. The second thig is that we believe the reason for some of the data differential is this and the fact that is is one wacky year, and teams are not behaving like they really should.

We hope this helps to shed some light...as always, we will review at the conclusion of the season to determine real reasons behind the differences.

i can agree to an extent that this is a crazy year in terms of ranked teams getting beat etc etc, but that dosent explain why accuscore is always on the side of the big chalk. last year when the home team was favored by 14 or more your strike rate was 62% and + 38 units and i promise you the all those units came from dogs...im not really questing the win% its that the % of time the chalk is the play as compared to last year. you are on the chalk in almost every big spread this week, again!over the last 5 weeks when a big spread has been involved accuscore has landed on the chalk an amazing 83%of the time..no wonder you have negative units in the category..thats crazy.
