I was looking at the NHL 07/08 excel sheet, and I came across something that I don't understand. I'm focusing on the over/under columns. For example, game ID number 979, Tampa Bay at Carolina on 03/01/2008, the vegas over/under was 6 goals, the accuscore simulation was 7 goals, the final total was 6 goals. My question is, "Why is the over/under units +100 for this game?". It seems to me that the over/under units should be 0 since vegas over/under = final total. I'm seeing this for dozens of games. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I can only guess that it's a mix up, although I can't see a formula. Try this:

Go to the OUUNITS column for Game ID200 (should be the first game on the list, row 6 for me). Now go to the column to the right (for me this is "W").

Enter this formula (without quotation marks):

"=IF(T6=1,100,0)"

Then go to the next column to the right (X). Enter this formula (again, without quotes):

"=IF(U6=1,-110,0)"

Finally, go back to the OUUNITS column (V). Enter this (w/o quotes):

"=W6+X6"

Highlight those three cells. At the bottom right of the highlight box there is a tiny black box. Click this box and drag it to the final game. This will copy the formula through the rest of the games.

I'll pass the message along. For now, the above solution should provide a quick fix, so that you can get accurate results.

I figured it out a few days ago. The wins/pushes/no plays/loses were correct, but the units were not correct. I did something similiar to what you explained, and came out with the correct units for all games. Thanks!
