First of all, let me say that I am ashamed of myself. I have not gotten my Golden Rule picks completed in time for posting the last two weeks. The first week I lied and claimed a death in the family, and last week, instead of lying, I simply posted some unresearched guesses. I did later complete the picks each week with the following results: Week 11 I finished 8-8, and Week 12 I improved to 9-7. By comparison, the Scorpion system went 10-6 in week 11(some numb skull commented on T Will's forum that the system had a monster week in week 11 going 11-5, but if you look at the picks it was actually only 10-6) and last week was a disappointing 6-9-1 for Timmy. My Golden Rule project is now four weeks old and to give you a little more info on it, the first two weeks I used a different system entirely than I did the last two weeks. It's called tweaking, and it just shows that the Golden Rule is still a work in progress, and not a supposedly completed effort like T Will's Scorpion System. I will be posting picks using the constantly changing Golden Rule system for the remainder of the year in hopes of perfecting it for the start of the 2009 season. Since the Golden Rule's inception the first version went 14-14, and since the tweaking, the new version is 17-15. That comes out to 31-29 for 4 weeks, which compiles for a net loss of 0.9 units(but on the bright side, the old version lost 1.4 units, while the new and improved version is 0.5 units to the good). In that same 4 week span, the Scorpion System is 32-27-1(if you are wondering why he has a tie and I don't, send an email asking for the explanation to DonovanMcnabb@IDon'tKnowAllTheRules.Com. Just kidding, but seriously his "push" came last week on the Washington vs. Seattle game where he had a line of Washington -3. I had Washington at -3.5. I don't know where his lines come from, but I get mine from BoDog). Therefore the Scorpion System nets you a 4 week profit of 2.3 units. Put another way, the Golden Rule is hitting 51.6% overall, 53.1% since the modification, while the Scorpion System is getting 54.2%(the Golden Rule percentages are just for the lines and not the totals, I tried the totals, it didn't work, and I'm man enough to admit when I am horrible at something, and I am horrible at totals). To recap, since week 9: Golden Rule 31-29(51.6%, -0.9 units), Scorpion System 32-27-1(54.2%, +2.3 units). Now that I have set the record straight, let's move forward by addressing a few other things. First, I will get my Golden Rule projections done and posted on time each week, and only post Golden Rule projections. Second, to the gentleman who said my Golden Rule system sucks, groundef I believe, as I have stated, I am horrible at totals, but am over 50% on game lines and if you throw out the first week where the Scorpion System went 8-6 and Golden Rule was 6-8, the last 3 weeks has seen Golden Rule go 25-21(54.3%, +1.9 units) while the Scorpion System, which you slurp over, has gone 24-21-1(53.3%, +0.9 units), advantage: Golden Rule. Additionally, you and DoctorBob each post a handful of games and then criticize me when my picks, for all the games, are less than perfect. I also formerly picked just a few games, and with much more success, but I have branched out, and armed with my Golden Rule, have manned up and will continue picking all the games. So, until you two are man enough to pick all the games and put your football knowledge, or mathematical and computer excellence, to the test, keep your unsolicited opinions to yourselves. I do, however, agree with JohnnyRip that this site was beginning to suck and it is good to have some other people posting their picks. Hey Rip, perhaps you can tell me: what ever happened to the Accuscore Challenge? Now that was a good time. Now that I am done venting, I will go to BoDog and look up the lines because my Golden Rule projections are ready for posting.

it seems to me that you have been caught up in the hype of Mrs. Scorpion. You feel as if you must pick ALL the games And have a better record. The best thing to do is to pick YOUR TOP 5. no one that is remotely intelligent would bet every game. So be realistic. Go back to only a few picks.

Golden Rule, I just call em like I see em. You talk a lot of bull and then when you don't deliver, you make excuses. You are the type that insults everybody, but at the same time never takes responsibility or blame. Talk about "manning up" as you put it. You act and make picks like you are 13 years old. I really wonder if you are even old enough to be on this website?

I agree that it is harder to pick all the games, but I am not going to start making guesses as you foolishly do. I think it would be better if you just shut your mouth and went back to posting only a few games a week. I have a pretty good feeling that you will still suck.

Visionary, you had your chance to shut me up and couldn't, grounder boy, if you would like to take your shot, i am always open to a challenge. Check back and look at the rules, or just ask the blurry boy blunder, but until you can silence me by beating me, take your opinion....turn it sideways.....and shove it straight up your candy a**.
