Detroit takes on Edmonton in the second game between the two teams this week.  The Red Wings won convincingly on Monday night, beating the Oilers 4-0 on the back of a Ty Conklin shutout.  Detroit won’t have as easy of a time tonight.  The Red Wings are winning 58.6 percent of AccuScore simulations tonight, but are on AccuScore Upset Watch, with the average score being decided by less than half a goal.

Chris Osgood takes the net for Detroit tonight, stopping 22 of 25 shots against the Oilers.  Pavel Datsyuk, Marian Hossa, and Tomas Holmstrom are combining to score a goal in every simulation tonight.  Henrik Zetterberg, Johan Franzen, and Mikael Samuelsson are also combining to score a goal in every simulation tonight.  Zetterberg has the best chance of scoring a goal tonight, scoring in over half of simulations.

Mathieu Garon is starting in net for Edmonton, stopping 31 of 34 shots.  Ethan Moreau, Shawn Horcoff, and Ales Hemsky are combining for a goal in 85 percent of simulations.  Dustin Penner, Sam Gagner, and Robert Nilsson are combining for a goal in just 49 percent of simulations.  Ethan Moreau and Shawn Horcoff have the best chances of scoring a goal for Edmonton, with each scoring in a third of simulations.
